00:00What I'm working on right now is my 24-7 No Days Off EP, and then I've got another song called
00:14Since Jordan, and the producer that did J. Cole's Love Yours, he worked on that track,
00:20which I'm excited for you guys to hear. Some of the people that I'm inspired by musically,
00:25females would be Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Minnie Riperton, even SWV. I really love the 90s.
00:38J. Holiday, that was the End I'm Telling You song. That was the first song, the first big vocal song
00:48that I learned. I did church choir, and then I was doing that because, I don't know, her belt
00:55was just so powerful. Man, this summer I am proud to be a part of the Essence Festival 2017,
01:12which is taking place in New Orleans, a very huge part of my heart. I mean, just the people are so
01:20authentic, the soul there. And the fact that Essence is also giving back with Team Hope No Lie is a big
01:27deal. So not only do they get a show, but, you know, we're helping heal the community there. So
01:33I'm excited to speak and perform. 2017 summer, we working on that right now.
