00:16because it just shows that love really has no color and love is the thing that I believe
00:23is that could save everything and save the world my experience working with Dee Reese was so
00:30pleasant so comfortable so amazing because she knew exactly what she wanted and she just treated
00:38us like people she just made me feel like I knew what I was doing I connected to Florence her character
00:46was a character out of the 40s in Mississippi she had a family and all this stuff and I don't have
00:51you know children and you know all that stuff like that but my aunt was Florence my grandmother
00:56was Florence even my mom they were strong women but a lot of time they had to be silent my grandmother
01:02she was that strong woman who loved her family but who also you know was in the south and had
01:07to live through all of that and also my aunt she was a woman who ended up being friends with a white
01:13family and helping them and they still love her to this day it's amazing I've never gotten any Oscar
01:28buzz I've never had an opportunity like this before so I'm just normal with it it's a blessing
01:34it's a job that we have to work it and make it work and hopefully all the Oscar buzz turns into Oscar
