00:00Michelle and Barack Obama have taught all of us, if we've been paying attention, what
00:06grace under fire and pressure looks like.
00:09And all that pressure has just made the diamond of their relationship that much more sparkly
00:14and beautiful and strong.
00:16What have they taught me?
00:21How to support one another.
00:25How to be each other's cheerleader.
00:27How to have strength for the other person.
00:30I just see pictures of them, they seem very genuine with their relationship.
00:33It's not for the cameras.
00:36Whenever you see a picture of them, it seems like they have so much joy looking into each
00:41other's eyes.
00:42It taught me that black love is beautiful.
00:44We don't see enough of that.
00:45It's strong.
00:46It's an extraordinary message that they send to not only our community, but to the country
00:53in the world about the power of love, the power of marriage, decency, dignity, honorability,
01:02and all of these things that we're lacking now in leadership in the White House.
01:08They taught me that commitment is foremost.
01:11They've shown us what strong, committed black love is.
01:16Love is powerful.
01:17Like, they're like one of the biggest power couples I know.
01:21What have they taught me?
01:22I think that they have a bond that goes deeper than love.
01:24Like, they seem like they're really friends and they enjoy each other's company and experiences.
01:28I think that they were good at keeping it real, you know?
01:32I mean, in that situation, it's hard.
01:34Every time he was on that podium speaking, he was himself laughing at his own jokes.
01:39And you had Michelle there laughing with him.
01:41Even though sometimes the jokes were corny, she'd be like, ugh.
01:43You know, and that's just love, you know what I mean?
01:45Just accepting who that person is.
01:48They taught me to have integrity above all.
01:50I mean, I'm sure that they've had hard times, but the fact that they put their best foot forward
01:54is the most inspiring thing.
01:55Their relationship is bigger than anything around them, and you can see that with the
02:01respect they have for each other.
02:02They have to have a very deep respect for one another to be with each other this long.
02:08And I admire that.
02:09It's a lot of work in marriage.
02:11A lot of work.
02:12I just love seeing them together, you know?
02:16They're playful together.
02:17You know what I'm saying?
02:18And that's a relationship goal for me.
02:20I want to be like 25 years in, we spud in, we joking and joking.
02:24You know, that's so beautiful to see.
02:25Barack Obama went through a lot in the White House, but Michelle had to shoulder that.
02:29She had to be the one to bite her tongue.
02:30She had to be the one to be like, babe, it's okay, don't do that, don't say anything.
02:34She had to, you know, really be there for him.
02:36And for me, that was a couple goals in the sense that they were there for one another.
02:39I'm going to miss them, man.
02:40I miss them now.
02:41We out here.
02:42Black love is real, and we out here.
02:43pantalla love is real.
