Transcript
00:00So, one thing I love about your character, Carlotta, is that she is a mother hen.
00:04Yeah.
00:04And I remember you talking about, in an interview, you were talking about starting a family and the idea of that.
00:10Do you think that you would bring in some of Carlotta's mothering ways into your own ways of being a mom?
00:18I'm going to go with a no on that.
00:21Carlotta didn't have the, she, Carlotta didn't really have the shake in life that Latifah had.
00:27You know what I mean?
00:28So, there's absolutely certain ways I would be like Carlotta.
00:32She's very protective.
00:33She would do anything, you know, for her kids, her family, period.
00:39But there's a lot of things that, luckily, Latifah's mother is not in the streets like Carlotta's mother and sister.
00:47She's out there.
00:48God and guns.
00:50That's what you told us, right, Ma?
00:52We're from the streets.
00:54I had to use my pistol.
00:55You know, so you got to kind of skip that and hopefully not pass that on to the baby.
01:00Listen, all of that to say, just adopt me, please.
01:03There we go.
01:04Because you'd be much easier to manage than a four-month-old.
01:07Yeah.
01:07You can go get your own milk from the fridge.
01:09I would.
01:10Your own bye-bye.
01:11I would.
01:11You can go get Mommy a bye-bye.
01:13You can go get Mommy a bye-bye.
