00:29South Africa. I only had 36 hours here but I got the most out of it because I am
00:35all about living my best life. First I was invited to the Voo Kuklo Masters
00:41Polo Tournament hosted by South African actress Nomzoma Bata and Terence Jay
00:47yes from Think Like a Man come on y'all. They were here hosting the most
00:51beautiful epic party I've ever had on a palatial estate where everything was
00:56just beautiful. Between the champagne, the fashions, and the music I really got a
01:01quick insight into how South Africans really like to party I get one more day
01:09in Cape Town. What should I do?
01:16I couldn't come to South Africa of course visiting Robben Island
01:21It is where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27-year prison sentence but it was
01:27interesting being in there because not only did I learn about the hardships that
01:31Nelson Mandela went at that particular prison but also the other prisoners that
01:36were there fighting against apartheid including Robert Soluque who really led
01:41this beautiful nonviolent protest that resulted in the abolishment of past laws.
01:47His activism resulted in him being confined for six years for solitary confinement.
01:53When you look at all of this was still taking place you know in our in our
01:57lifetime and it's still going on in the world you know it's just it's really
02:01disappointing. I feel a sense of privilege. Thank God I live in such a time and we
02:05remember that we are because of the blood that literally fertilized the soil of this country.
02:11So I only have a few hours left in beautiful Cape Town so I decided to come down
02:15to the waterfront which is just cock full of everything you could imagine.
02:19Shopping, food, drinks, atmosphere. I'm actually in the watershed which is the
02:25fantastic space of beautiful products all made by artisans in South Africa or
02:30Africa. In fact I got this great bag here that I love and I love most that it
02:35says made in South Africa and after this I really want to finish eating all this
02:39great South African food I've been able to taste and I'm going over to the
02:43Victorian Alfred food hall where they have everything imaginable. So I'm going to
02:47finish with a cocktail and some Bella Tong and thank you for coming along with me
