The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that when the 15th night of Sha‘ban arrives, believers should stand in prayer during the night and fast during the day.
From sunset until dawn, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and calls out: Is there anyone seeking forgiveness? Is there anyone seeking provision? Is there anyone in distress?
This divine call continues until dawn.
