Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) is a blessed night in the month of Ramadan, in which the Quran was revealed. The Quran says:
"Indeed, We revealed it on the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months." (Quran 97:1-3)
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
"Search for Laylatul Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadan." (Bukhari)
As for Itikaf (seclusion), it is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to spend the last ten days of Ramadan in the mosque, devoting oneself to worship and prayer.
