00:00So today I'm going to be showing you how to change the traditional afro into a more modernized
00:14shape. What we're going to do is we're going to change the sphere shape of the traditional afro
00:18into a more triangular shape and make it more modern. First we start out by removing weight
00:24from the sides. That circular shape here we're going to try to get it more triangular showing
00:40more of her neck and shoulders. And the circular shape on the top we're going to try to consolidate
00:56it down on the sides. As you can see we have our triangular shape starting already.
01:26And around the face we're going to frame the face a little bit more so it's a little bit
01:34more complementing. Some more weight out of the back. Get rid of that circular shape.
01:46And we continue to get the weight out on the top making it more triangular. And there you
01:54have it. I'm a modern take on the afro.
