01:15He played basketball and he also was a Mardi Gras Indian since the age of 10.
01:28But that all ended two years ago when my baby became the victim of this crippling hate in

01:47DeMond was lured into a black SUV on May 26, 2010.
02:01His body was found around 7.40 p.m. in the night water.
02:15My life has never been the same since I received that call.
02:30My baby was dead.
02:36I've since had bypass surgery.
02:41My heart was so badly broken, I was literally dying.
02:54I miss his hugs, his kisses.
03:02DeMond was my little friend.
03:06He had old people since.
03:12I continue to fight for justice for DeMond.
03:17I continue to fight for DeMond's friends he hung with.
03:25They spent so much time at my house eating all my food.
03:34They miss him too.
03:39DeMond and his friends weren't perfect.
03:46The truth is none of us all.
03:57But I can't give anything else to my baby.
