00:00I started performing when I was 15.
00:10I'm from New Orleans, of course.
00:12I did middle school marching bands.
00:13I went to high school, did the same thing.
00:15Me and a couple of friends of mine started a group called the Lil Students Brass Band.
00:18That's when we started performing.
00:19We'd be in ballrooms and places like that.
00:22I've been performing in clubs since I was 15.
00:25This is my fourth album.
00:27It's entitled King of the Party.
00:28It's hot, you've got to get it.
00:31We're digging into some different sounds.
00:33You're going to get that and you're going to get some other things, too.
00:35That's like knocking on the door for some other things.
00:37You'll definitely enjoy it.
00:39Keep your body moving.
00:41We have Essence Music Festival.
00:43We've been playing for the past three years.
00:45It's amazing every time.
00:46It just gets better and better.
00:47The line-up every year is just better and better.
00:49Being a part of that, too.
00:51It's not everywhere where you can get mainstream R&B or hip-hop acts or pop artists.
00:56And then you can get some of the locals that travel internationally as well to be in the same environment, playing the shows.
