00:00So, The Boys Are Back was a script that I read, and it just simply burrowed into me.
00:09It was one of those stories that I just wouldn't let go, and it resonated so deeply about issues of fatherhood and, you know, relationships with sons that, for me, meant a great deal.
00:21And I took it to Clive Owen, and he leapt at it as well, and sort of really shared my passion to get this film made.
00:34And I thought, great, here we go, great script, great actor, we're off, you know.
00:39That was in 2004, and so welcome to the world of independent filmmaking, we all understand.
00:46And it took a long time, but during that time, Clive never lost his shared passion with me to get this film made,
00:54and his determination to be a part of it, which was of huge value to getting the film to where you see it now.
