00:00Well, if there was one, I mean, we haven't had one in a long time.
00:03D.C. has become a very safe.
00:05There was an in-house homicide.
00:07It was in-house.
00:07It was a dispute within a family.
00:11We have had virtually no crime in D.C.
00:14D.C. is now considered a very safe place, and it should be.
00:18It's our nation's capital.
00:20And we sent in the soldiers.
00:21I read The Washington Post this weekend.
00:22It was incredible.
00:24They were trying to determine how come, how did we get so low numbers?
00:28The low numbers in D.C. because we have very little crime, if any.
00:32And they talked about everything except for the fact that we put our National Guard
00:38and great soldiers inside our city.
00:40They didn't want to mention that.
00:42It's how dishonest.
00:43Because if we didn't do that, you'd have tremendous crime in D.C.
00:47And I get thanked every single day by people that work in the White House.
00:51People, young ladies, men, they come up.
00:53Thank you, sir, for making D.C. so safe.
00:56If they walk to work now, a year and a half ago, they wouldn't have walked to work.
00:59They would have been killed or mugged or something would have happened to them.
01:03So it's, you know, it's a great honor.
01:04But you're going to read the story of The Washington Post.
01:07They do it.
01:08Crime is way down in D.C.
01:11Now, what's the reason for it?
01:13The reason for it is we have very big, strong, good-looking soldiers standing around.
01:19And I think they make the place look better.
01:22But this is our capital.
01:23We have a very safe capital.
01:24We had a very dangerous capital.
01:26Be forward.
01:27Be forward.
