00:00The Selangor Football Club on Tuesday condemned the actions of a group of its supporters following
00:07their arrests over their march on the Kuala Terengganu drawbridge ahead of their Super
00:12League away match against Terengganu last Sunday.
00:15The club said it does not compromise any behaviour that violates the law or threatens
00:20public safety.
00:21It said such conducts are contrary to the values upheld by the club and the wider Selangor
00:26football community.
00:28It thanked the Terengganu police for their actions in safeguarding safety and public
00:32order.
00:33Police detained 412 people and remanded 33 of them for their involvement in the march that
00:39police said obstructed traffic and disrupted public order.
00:44The supporters also set off flares during the incident.
00:48Terengganu Police Chief Datuk Mohamad Khairi Khairuddin told a press conference on Monday
00:54that police had seized items from the suspects, including drugs.
00:59He said those remanded would be investigated for possession of drugs and for being tested
01:04positive for drugs, as well as for obstructing public servants from carrying out their duties.
