00:55The motions were tabled in response to Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu's decision on Friday to invoke Article 49.3 of the Constitution, which allows the government to pass legislation without a vote from MPs.
01:12One motion was tabled by the far-right national rally, the other by left-wing parties, excluding the socialists.
01:18Since both failed, the budget has been automatically adopted.

03:44Polish Secretary of State Ignacy Nimczycki told Euronews on Monday that Russia is intent on prolonging peace discussions and extending its war in Ukraine.

03:58Nimczycki pointed to Russia's ongoing strikes on civilian energy infrastructure in Kyiv as proof that it wants to do so.
04:05He also added that he hopes the United States can, quote,
04:09help convince Russia to be more creative in trilateral peace talks that will resume in Abu Dhabi this Wednesday.
04:16Russia is not negotiating with a goodwill right now.
04:21So what we see is that they are trying to prolong the discussion,
04:25whereas we strongly believe that Ukraine made a significant effort to find a solution,
04:32to find an end to this war.
04:34So the question right now is whether Russia wants to end the war or not.
04:42Our understanding of the situation is that, unfortunately, they want to continue it.
04:47Nimczycki also spoke on recent developments in Iran.
04:51On Sunday, Tehran designated armies of European countries as terrorist groups.
04:56It did so in response to the EU's decision to include the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on its list of terrorist organizations.
05:02However, Nimczycki said Iran's response is largely a symbolic one, as it does not carry any practical implications.
05:11They want to attack its own people.
05:15SpaceX has begun blocking Russia from using Starling to control attack drones over Ukraine.
05:21Ukraine's Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov praised the first steps as delivering real results,
05:27saying no Ukrainians have died from Starling-equipped Russian drones in recent days.
05:32Fedorov contacted SpaceX after evidence emerged of Russian forces mounting Starling terminals on attack drones to strike deeper into Ukraine.
05:40These drones can fly low, resist electronic warfare, and operate over long distances.
05:47Elon Musk confirmed on social media that efforts to stop unauthorized Russian use are working.
05:53Ukraine will now verify all Starling terminals with a government whitelist.
05:57Only registered devices will remain active, in cooperation with SpaceX.

06:52Its agents will be present at the Milan Cortina Olympic Games.
06:57HSI has 90 offices, mostly located within embassies, in 50 countries.
07:02HSI is another branch of ICE, of this police, which is deployed abroad,
07:10in the beginning to fight against the narcotráfic, against any terrorist project
07:15that could threaten the internal security of the United States, or its allies, or all American foreigners.
07:21For a few years, HSI has also become a police of fight against the clandestine immigration.
07:26HSI collaborates with local police and Interpol.
07:31Its agents are armed, sometimes heavily, but they are only allowed to use their weapons
07:36after having received a mandate from the host country, the researcher adds,

09:08knows its residents, and is a first-hand eyewitness to what is happening in the city.
09:12There's a stark difference between what the city looks like now and what it did in 2023.
09:19You know, ICE and its takeover of Minneapolis is very omnipresent.
09:26Every establishment you go into, there will be people talking about it.
09:31So it's really shocking having lived there before and then seeing it after the fact
09:38or during the takeover, it's quite shocking how everywhere it is in people's conversations
09:49and the streets.
09:51As we've seen, eyewitnesses, like, it's a dangerous job just being an observer
09:57because both Renee Good and Alex Preddy were just observers to the scene.
10:02They didn't have anyone, they weren't detainees, they didn't have anyone that they knew,
10:08you know, they weren't protecting any specific person.
10:10They were protecting the community and trying to push ICE out in general.
10:17So yeah, it's a dangerous job.
10:20Many argue that recent events in the United States are creating an atmosphere of civil war.
10:25Angelina Katsanis says that residents feel that the takeover from federal agents is underway.
10:29Definitely a federal takeover.
10:35Many people are calling it an occupation by the state.
10:39The difference between a civil war and this is that the opposition among the civilians,
10:48they are only armed with whistles and cameras, phones, documenting what's happening.
10:56Um, so they're, they're pushing, they're pushing back and they're, but it's, it's for the most
11:02part nonviolent and yet, but I do think that ICE sees it as a civil war.
11:08You know, I've talked to agents that say that they are afraid of their lives and, and people
11:13are trying to hurt them.
11:14Um, so I think that's, that mentality for whatever reason they have it, that's causing
11:21them to be extra scared and, and potentially the escalate as we've seen with Alex Preddy
11:30and Renee Goode and many others as well.
11:33According to Katsanis, almost everyone in USA is afraid because of these events.
11:36She adds that fear has taken over not only the city of Minneapolis, but the entire country.
