00:05Kiki Palmer loves being around Strahan and Sarah so much that ABC has decided to make
00:10her a permanent fixture on the show. The actress is now joining Michael Strahan and
00:14Sarah Haynes to co-host the third hour of Good Morning America, which will now be
00:18rebranded to be called GMA3, Strahan, Sarah and Kiki. The Scream Queens actress has come
00:24on as a guest correspondent a number of times throughout the show and even took a spin
00:28as co-host of the show this summer when Haynes was on maternity leave.
00:32Speaking of the new addition, executive producer Rory Albanese says,
00:35Kiki brings a unique and spontaneous energy viewers love. She's a multi-talented artist
00:40and I'm thrilled to have her join Michael and Sarah every day. The three of them are a terrific team.
00:45Haynes is also thrilled to have the actress on board saying,
00:48We love Kiki because she stepped up to the plate and joined our family and carried the ball.
00:52And Strahan of course had nothing but praise for Palmer saying,
00:55What you have done is amazing and we appreciate you. We love you. You add to so much of what we
01:00do here. This is not just a gift for us, this is a gift for America.
01:04This is the second time ABC has rebranded their third hour GMA block. The show was originally
01:09rolled out as GMA Day before being renamed to Strahan and Sarah. Haynes was previously a
01:14co-host on The View before leaving to team up with Strahan who joined GMA in 2016 before
