00:00You have been stalwart in standing with those of us who were sanctioned by the People's Republic of China all those years ago,
00:07and you've been very clear that we stand as one in this House.
00:12Do you not find it as surprising as I do that the Prime Minister has come back with a deal
00:17that lifts the sanctions on those six of us who are still in this House,
00:22but not the one who isn't, nor the lawyers, advisors and academics who support the work of this House?
00:28Is this not a direct affront to the democracy of this place,
00:32an attempt to divide and conquer that we've seen China play against the European Parliament
00:36and, sadly, has tricked our Government too?
