04:05They were headed up towards him when we rode out.
04:07Thank you. I'm so glad you girls are safe.
04:12Hey, hey, hey, where do you think you're going?
04:13Back to help Constable Grant.
04:15Constable Grant can take care of himself.
04:16I need you to put together a brigade.
04:18To extinguish roof fires.
04:20It's only a matter of time with those embers. Go on.
04:22Yes, sir.
04:26Bill.
04:28You okay?
04:29Bill.
04:30I guess I just breathed in too much of that smoke up in those mountains.
04:34What about a fire break? Has anyone started one?
04:36Lucas has a small army digging in Yarrow pasture.
04:39Good, good.
04:40Nathan and Joseph will get your boys back.
04:44Mark my word.
04:44There they are.
04:54Praise the Lord.

05:14He's right.
05:15The fire's even worse behind us.
05:17Follow me down this way.
05:17That's right into the heart of the fire.
05:19Just trust me.
05:20Okay, hold on.
05:20Hold on, Coop.
05:21Come on, come on.
05:22Everybody, keep widening out.
05:32Then why do we go?
05:33The last chance the fire's gonna jump the line.
05:42Please tell me you got the kids out.
05:45Just Ali and Opal so far.
05:47Well, I'll be.
06:11Indeed.
06:11Indeed.
06:14Oh.
06:17Oh, my boy.
06:19Hi, Mom.
06:20Oh, my baby boy.
06:22You can call me that just this once.
06:32Oh, thank goodness you're all safe.
06:35Oh, I'm so worried.
06:37Mountain Nathan let us out along Chautauk Creek,
06:39which gave us a natural fire break.
06:42This man stays cool in the crisis.
06:45God bless you, Nathan.
06:47I'm just glad we got the boys back safe.
06:52Where's Ali?
06:52Oh, she's fine.
06:53She's in with Faith.
06:54And Dr. Carter would like to check out the boys as well,
06:56if you're ready.

06:58Come on.
06:58Come on.
06:59Come on.
07:07Nathan.
07:08How's the East Ridge holding up?
07:16It's just spot fires right now, but with this wind,
07:19I'm sorry to say, but your ranch is in danger.
07:23Then I have to save my animals.
07:25All right.
07:25I have to stay here with the town,
07:26but let me find you some help first, OK?
07:28There's no time.
07:29I'll be fine.
07:30Come on.
07:31Come on.
07:31They found them.
07:41All the kids are safe.

08:07You're right.
08:08You're absolutely right.
08:09I've got to worry about the town now.
08:13Nathan.
08:14The wind up that ridge is starting to whip towards town.
08:16Same thing with the park entrance.
08:19I don't think we have a choice.
08:21Yeah, mandatory evacuation.
08:23I'll make an announcement on the radio.
08:25OK.
08:27All right, everybody, listen up.
08:28This is a mandatory evacuation for all of Hope Valley.
08:31Take what you can and meet at the visitor center
08:33to join a caravan now.
08:34Let's go.
08:35Immediately.
08:35Let's move.
08:39Elizabeth, we just called an evacuation.
08:40We heard.
08:41She needs to grab the insulin.
08:44I'll get it.
08:44You've got to go.
08:46Pack a bag.
08:47I'll meet you at the visitor center as soon as I can.
08:51OK, people, come on.
08:52Mandatory evacuation.
08:53We've got to get out of here as fast as we can.
08:57Can I have your attention?
08:59Thank you all for your hard work,
09:00but we've called a mandatory evacuation.
09:02What?
09:02Take only what you can carry
09:03and meet at the visitor center to join a caravan.
09:05Now.
09:06Let's go.
09:07Lucas, I think you should know
09:09that Edie headed up to her ranch.
09:10What?
09:11When?
09:12About 10 minutes ago,
09:13and it's getting pretty bad up there.
09:15Thank you, Nathan.
09:16Let's go.
09:21Let's go.
09:31I know.
09:31It's OK.
09:32It's OK.
09:33It's OK.
09:34Edie, the entire East Ridge is burning.
09:36It's time to go.
09:37This gate, it's stuck.
09:38OK, hold on.
09:39Let's get out of here.
10:01I can't.
10:02I've got to bring my cattle.
10:03Let's get out of here.
10:03Let's get out of here.
10:03I can't.
10:04I've got to bring my cattle.
10:07Elizabeth, you made it.
10:15Wonderful.
10:17I got my baseball glove.
10:19Of course you did.
10:21Good job.
10:22I haven't had a chance to pack any of our things.
10:25I got your wedding photo, just in case.
10:28Elizabeth.
10:32You should go to the infirmary.
10:34Dr. Carter is packing up the insulin
10:36and putting it on ice for you.
10:38In the middle of all this, you're thinking of us.
10:40And you're thinking of us.
10:42It's what we do.
10:45I will see you in Jameson at the Crown Hotel, all right?
10:48All right.
10:49Let's go.
10:50Let's go.
10:55So, how are we making out?
10:57Well, we have caravans ready to go at the North Road
10:59and by the old Derek.
11:01Everyone is accounted for, except Edie Martell and...
11:04Lucas!
11:06Lee!
11:07Thank you, sir.
11:09Whoa.
11:10Well, that's everyone.
11:11While we were up there, we saw the fire moving.
11:14Over the ridge.
11:16Away from Hope Valley.
11:18Are you sure about that?
11:19Look.
11:20The wind is shifting enough vapor.
11:23It's moving east.
11:26What's the word, Mr. Mayor?
11:27You ready to head out?
11:28Uh, hold on, fellas.
11:31Change of plans.
11:32Here, Joseph, help me up.
11:34All right, everyone, listen up.
11:36The wind is carrying the fire eastward,
11:38so for now, we're going to stand down on the evacuation.
11:41But I want to keep digging that fire break in Yarrow Pasture,
11:44and everybody stay alert, okay?
11:46That wind could shift again at any second.
11:48All right, let's look lively, people.
11:49Come on.
11:50Go inform the caravans, constable.
11:52Yes, sir.
11:53Did you say the fire is moving east?
11:55Yeah, with a vengeance.
11:57But that's towards Benson Hills.
12:00My mother, my sisters.
12:03I'll make an announcement on the radio,
12:05warning everyone in the valley,
12:07offering Hope Valley a sanctuary.
12:08That's a good idea, sweetheart.
12:10Don't worry.
12:12We have an extra fire pumper.
12:14I could take it to Benson Hills.
12:15Maybe it'll help.
12:16Yeah, but you can't do that by yourself, Michael.
12:18I'll go, too.
12:20Sweetheart, you don't have to.
12:21Yes, I do.
12:22You're going to need a third.
12:24Once more into the breach.
12:25Last I heard, Christopher's headed that direction.
12:28I'd like to go check in on him.
12:30All right, good.
12:32I'll call your sister,
12:33make sure she knows the fire's headed their way.
12:34Let's go.
12:37Hey, Benson Hills is going to need all the help that you get.
12:40You think you and the kid can hold a fort down?
12:41We got it.
12:42You just watch her back, Constable.
12:47To all those in Benson Hills who can hear my voice,
12:50you must prepare to evacuate.
12:52The winds have shifted and your town is now in the path of the fire.
12:59Please, listen to your local officials.
13:02Stay alert.
13:03Florence, can you get me the mayor's office in Benson Hills, please?
13:06No, dear neighbors,
13:07that we here in Hope Valley are ready to accept you with open arms.
13:13We're here for you in your time of need.
13:15Please, once again, listen to your local officials.
13:19Stay alert.
13:21Watch out for your family and neighbors.
13:22And stay safe.
13:32Elizabeth.
13:35I'm heading to Benson Hills to help.
13:36Of course you are.
13:38Be careful, Dad.
13:39I will.
13:40I don't know when I'll be back, but don't worry.
13:45Well, that's asking a lot.
13:47You help Elizabeth with whatever she needs.
13:49Of course.
13:51And you, kiddo,
13:53you'll get for your mom.
13:54Yes, sir, Mom, to Nathan.
13:57You come back to me, Nathan Grant.
14:00Always.
14:00Always.
14:00Elizabeth.
14:12We're going to be taking in evacuees from Benson Hills
14:14so I could really use your help organizing food, shelter.
14:17I'll take care of it.
14:18Don't worry.
14:18Okay, great.
14:19Rosemary's just about finished on the radio,
14:21so when she's done, I'm sure she'll come for you.
14:22I'll find her.
14:23Okay, even better.
14:23Thank you so much.
14:30Everyone, please listen up.
14:34The fire evacuees from Benson Hills will be arriving soon,
14:37so we'll officially be turning our visitor center into...
14:40Well, exactly that,
14:41just for different visitors than we expected.
14:43I'm going to need everyone's help.
14:45Of course.
14:48All right, everyone.
14:50That wind can turn on a dime.
14:53So let's dig like Hope Valley depends on it.
14:59Because it just might.
15:00Minnie?
15:06Hi.
15:06Hi.
15:07I know it's asking a lot,
15:08but these evacuees are going to need a hot meal,
15:10which I am more than happy to cook.
15:12Oh, you are incredible.
15:15I'll help you prep,
15:16and then we can figure out reimbursement.
15:19I got my boy back today, Elizabeth.
15:21I don't need anything else.
15:26Oh, no.
15:27The power.
15:28Thank goodness we still have these old wood stoves.
15:31Yes, thank goodness.
15:33Um...
15:34Oh.
15:35We've got a million things to do.
15:37I'll get Cooper to help.
15:40Of course.
15:41Faith, I'm sorry to bother you,
15:52but the backup generator...
15:53It's on.
15:53It is?
15:54I know it's supposed to be, but...
15:57That's right.
15:58I turned it on the minute the power was interrupted.
16:01Little Jack's medicine is ready when he needs it.
16:03That's amazing.
16:08Welcome to a tier one insulin clinic.
16:13All right.
16:18Elizabeth, Rosemary, please, put me to work.
16:21You're so sweet, Edie.
16:23You can join our folding party.
16:24Everything's covered in ash.
16:28A little shake helps.
16:29Got it.
16:30Maybe this is ash from my ranch.
16:33I'm sorry.
16:34That was very grim.
16:35I think grim is allowed, given the circumstances.
16:44Looks like we have our first group of arrivals.
16:46Ladies...
16:46They're here, everybody.
16:47Let's go.
16:47Let's go.
16:47Let's go.
16:47Let's go.

17:10Please.
17:10We're very happy to have you.
17:12All are welcome.
17:13We are blessed to be your sanctuary.
17:15God is our refuge and strength.
17:17A very present help in trouble.
17:19Go listen.
17:24Amazing.
17:25Thank goodness you're okay.
17:27It's badly.
17:28The fire is chewing up absolutely everything.
17:32I was the last one out.
17:34What about your sisters?
17:35Oh, two in Buxton.
17:36The other two with Mother and Jameson.
17:37Good.
17:38We have got evacuees all over.
17:41Mayor Hickam, everyone in Hope Valley is here for you.
17:44Whatever you need.
17:45Absolutely.
17:46Thank you, dear.
17:48There is something.
17:50Constable Grant is close behind with a girl.
17:52Her name's Gwendolyn.
17:54There they are.
17:56Her father is missing.
17:58Oh.
17:58The constable was kind enough to take her.
18:02Well, I'll check in on her.
18:04Please.
18:04Let me take that, please.
18:06Come with me.
18:06Welcome home, constable.
18:14I see you brought a new friend.
18:16Yeah, sure did.
18:19This must be Gwendolyn.
18:20Gwendolyn, this is Mrs. Thornton.
18:22She's the teacher here in Hope Valley.
18:24You're safe now, sweetheart.
18:26I want my dad.
18:30Of course you do.
18:31Mayor Hickam told me all about him.
18:33Hey, listen to me.
18:38I'm about to head back up over that hill, and I'm going to do everything in my power to find your father, okay?
18:44I give you my promises about him.
18:46How about we find you someplace to rest?
18:56We can get you a hot meal.
18:58No biscuits.
18:59Here you go.
19:06Please take a biscuit.
19:08Your table's right over there in the saloon.
19:10Okay, so a family of four, you'll be with Linda Rubens.
19:15She has more than enough room for you all.
19:20If you need anything, anything at all, just ask for me personally.
19:23And that goes for you too, kids.
19:25Hey, hold on.
19:26I think you actually have something.
19:28Sorry, don't mind me.
19:30Yeah, you did.
19:31That's a funny place to keep a nickel, sweetheart.
19:35You think she has one too?
19:37Yeah.
19:38Did you find out?
19:39Yeah.
19:39Just right in behind the...
19:41Hey, she does indeed.
19:45Isn't that something?
19:47This might be the worst day in these kids' lives, and they can still laugh.
19:52Because they need to.
19:54Do you think it would be too frivolous to ask Lucas to put on a show for all of the children?
19:58Once they're set and fed for the night.
20:01I think a show is exactly what these kids need tonight.
20:05You're welcome.
20:06Take care.
20:07You're welcome.
20:07Here you go, sir.
20:23Oh, sorry, sir.
20:24It's one can each, not the whole box.
20:28Yeah, I saw the sign.
20:30Sir.
20:31Sir, sir.
20:32You need to give that back.
20:36Oh!
20:37Hey!
20:39You mustn't have heard my friend Ned.
20:41I heard Ned just fine.
20:43Easy, baby.
21:01Easy.
21:02Sir!
21:03Stop right there!
21:04You're under arrest for disturbing the peace and attacking an RCMP officer.
21:08Said so, kid.
21:09You can call me Constable Garrett.
21:14Give me that box.
21:15I ain't asked it twice.
21:16You heard the constable.
21:22Here you go, Mr. Yost.
21:24Much obliged.
21:26Arrest this man, Constable Garrett.
21:28Yes, sir, Judge Avery.
21:29Bill, are you all right?
21:44Bill?
21:44Let's get you to the infirmary.
21:46Very good idea.
21:49All right, children.
21:51Come, come.
21:52Have a seat.
21:53Come down front.
21:54It's time for the show.
21:56Hurry, hurry.
21:57Everybody gets settled.
21:58The show is about to start.
22:00Get ready for magic, children.
22:03Sweetie, after the show you'll come back to my house with little Jack and me, okay?
22:07And how'll my dad find me?
22:10I'll just wait here for him.
22:13Okay, well, I hope you like the show.
22:16Well, you've drawn quite a crowd.
22:22Is it strange that I'm nervous?
22:24On the contrary, it would be strange if you weren't.
22:27Not once have I strode the boards and not felt that tingle of butterflies.
22:32It's what awakens the showwoman.
22:35Or showman, as the case may be.
22:39Ready?
22:39Welcome, friends.
22:43I know you're all scared right now.
22:46None of us could have predicted that we'd all be gathered here tonight under these circumstances.
22:51But lucky for us, we have a governor who is prepared at a moment's notice, not only to lead us, but also to dazzle us with magic.
23:03Oh, who?
23:08Introducing Governor Bouchard!
23:17Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, I give you the world-famous disappearing handkerchief.
23:28Ooh.
23:28We're on the floor!
23:34We're on the floor!
23:36On the floor?
23:37What do you mean it's on the floor?
23:39You're right.
23:39It is on the floor.
23:40You know what?
23:41I know what happened there.
23:46I waved my hand when I should have snapped my fingers.
23:51Silly me.
23:52We're on the floor!
24:00Thank you very much.
24:01Have a lovely evening.
24:03Oh, yeah!
24:04What do you mean it's on the...
24:05It can't...
24:05It can't possibly be...
24:07It is...
24:08It is on the floor again.
24:09Oh, my...
24:10Well...
24:10Oh!
24:11Okay.
24:12Well, let's say we give this one more shot.
24:15Shall we try again?
24:16Okay.
24:17See if we can really make this handkerchief disappear.
24:25It's poking out again!
24:28Oh, my goodness, it really is.
24:29Thank you for catching that.
24:31That's not right, is it?
24:33Well...
24:33I will make the world-famous handkerchief reappear right before your eyes.
24:52Oh, my goodness, I said poof!
24:56I'll make shirts and go for a little bit.
24:57Let me practice again, alright?
25:02Poop!
25:11Poop!
25:15Poop!
25:18Poop!
25:18Poop!
25:20Poop!
25:21Poop!
25:21Poop!
25:21Poop!
25:22Poop!
25:22Poop!
25:22Poop!
25:22Poop!
25:23Poop!
25:24Poop!
25:24Poop!
25:25Poop!
25:25Poop!
25:26Poop!
25:26Poop!
25:26All right.
25:34Have fun with Talia tonight.
25:37I love you, sweetest Lily.
25:39I love you too, Auntie Faith.
25:44Have fun.
25:46Be good.
25:49I hate not being with her.
25:55But with the infirmary full, it's just...
25:57Faith, you are a godsend.
26:00And I think that Lily knows just how important your work is.
26:03We're all so grateful for you tonight.
26:07Well, not everyone.
26:08Oh, how's Bill?
26:10He is resting peacefully, if grumpily.
26:13In fact, I should probably get back to him before he leads a revolt.
26:20What a night.
26:21My goodness, I'm to think it's only your second night home.
26:24How are you?
26:26Well, I'm feeling very lucky that we still have a home.
26:29We're happy to take LJ tonight so you can stay.
26:32Speaking of home, I think we might have a problem.
26:35Gwendolyn's father still hasn't turned up, and she won't leave the saloon until he does.
26:40Oh, the poor dear.
26:41I think that's the first time she's smiled since she got here.
26:49Goldie has that effect on people.
26:51I have an idea.
27:01Gwendolyn, I'd like to introduce you to Mrs. Coulter, Goldie's mom.
27:07Hi.
27:08She has a funny laugh.
27:09She does.
27:11She does, doesn't she?
27:13Goldie's father and I need a babysitter for Goldie.
27:16Do you think that's something you might be able to help us with?
27:19It would mean staying in our home.
27:21But we'd bring your dad straight to you as soon as he arrives.
27:27I mean, if you need the help, I guess I could.
27:31Wonderful.
27:33Sorry, I couldn't resist.
28:03We had extra popcorn.
28:06Thanks, uh, sorry I missed it.
28:09It was mostly for the kids.
28:11You're a real mouncy now.
28:13I guess.
28:16You guess?
28:18First arrest.
28:19That's big.
28:21Plus, you know, you kind of saved my life.
28:24I don't know about that.
28:25I mean, there was no way I was going to let anything happen to you.
28:27And you would have found your way out on your own anyway.
28:34I'm not so sure about that.
28:37I couldn't even find my way to talking like a normal person yesterday.
28:40I thought that was just me.
28:42Pretty sure it was both of us.
28:45Why were we so weird?
28:46So weird!
28:47Okay, um, I should go.
28:53I promised Elizabeth I wouldn't be too long since she needs help at the visitor center.
28:58So.
29:01Allie, wait.
29:04Yeah?
29:04Back when I was riding up to look for you in the fire, the only thing I could think about was that I didn't get to say what I meant to say when you first got back.
29:16I really missed you this summer, Allie.
29:21I really missed you too, Oliver.
29:33That's your girlfriend?
29:34No.
29:37I mean, none of your business.
29:39Sure seemed like your girlfriend.
30:00They're back.
30:01Rosemary, everyone, they're back from Benson Hills.
30:06I'm so glad you're safe.
30:07We waited up all night for you.
30:12You all look like you've been in a war.
30:15In a war.
30:16Did you find my dad?
30:22I did, yeah.
30:23He told me to tell you he loves you very much, and he's gonna come get you as soon as he can.
30:26Why not now?
30:30He's in the hospital in Buxton.
30:34Can I see him?
30:36Not right now.
30:37The doctors want to be careful with infections, so there's no visitors for the next few weeks.
30:40We'll take you to Buxton as soon as he's ready.
30:50Bless you, Constable Grant.
30:54Now give it to me straight.
30:56How's my town?
30:57I'm sorry to report, Mayor Hickam, but it's bad.
31:02How bad?
31:05The embers overwhelmed the fire line we were digging.
31:08Kent, every time we got the building fires under control, the heat in the embers would reignite it.
31:14Your fire crew, the volunteers, all of us, we...
31:16We did everything we could, but half the houses are gone.
31:20Your main street is...
31:22It's destroyed.
31:27Amazing. I'm so sorry.
31:32The good news is everyone's accounted for.
31:36There's a few injuries, but there's no fatalities.
31:39Well, that's a blessing, at least.
31:42The fire has almost burned itself out.
31:45As you just know, the town acted as a natural firebreak.
31:51You can't go back.
31:54Not right now.
31:56Go back to what?
31:59Maisie.
32:05You'll rebuild, and we will be right there beside you, every step of the way.
32:09I promise you that.
32:13Thank you, Mayor Coulter.
32:15Constable Grant.
32:20Thank you all.
32:27Now, I guess I better go break the news.
32:34Excuse me.
32:35Dad!
32:43Allie.
32:46I'm so glad you're back.
32:50Yeah, me too.
32:53Me too.
32:53Good morning.
33:08Good morning.
33:12Good morning.
33:13You didn't actually...
33:15Sleep here?
33:16Actually, I did.
33:17Actually, I did.
33:19You realize we are standing in a hotel.
33:22I didn't want to take a room from a family who may have lost everything.
33:25You do realize...
33:26You do realize...
33:31I...
33:31I know.
33:36I guess I'm just not quite ready to...
33:39Face that.
33:40Well, maybe you didn't lose...
33:44Everything.
33:46One of Uncle Ernie's gold coins.
33:51I held on to it for good luck, but it belongs to you.
33:58This coin was stolen by the Garrison gang.
34:00Hanging on to it is a federal crime.
34:02Well, that's a good thing I know a very good lawyer.
34:05Won't help you much if I'm the one turning you in.
34:07I was moved by your show last night.
34:15It was very kind.
34:17And worth more than gold for all of those kids.
34:37You know, that's not a replacement for sleep.
34:49It is today.
34:52What a homecoming.
34:55This is home.
34:58Right here.
35:01Do you have any idea how much I love you?
35:06Remind me.
35:07Sometimes I can't sleep because I'm too happy.
35:14Well, I'm about to make you so much happier.
35:22Oh.
35:28Whoa!
35:30When was the last time you ate something?
35:32I've been a little busy.
35:34Now I have a mound of paperwork I have to get through.
35:37When you and Lee announced the evacuation,
35:41I went through my whole house trying to decide what to save.
35:46I only took a few things.
35:50And the rest I was prepared to let go.
35:54This whole ordeal.
35:57It's just reminded me what makes Hope Valley home.
36:01It's not the cafe, or the mercantile, or the saloon.
36:06It's the people.
36:07Too happy to sleep, huh?
36:11Too happy to sleep, huh?
36:16It's the only time.
36:16I know.
36:17It's the only place to safe.
36:22And three.
36:23And two.
36:28And one.
36:29Very good.
36:34Very good.
36:36Oh, yeah.
36:38Thanks, Molly.
36:40You and Faith fixed me right up.
36:42What are you doing?
36:44Well, I'm thanking you for taking care of me.
36:46You want to thank me, lie back down.
36:48No, I'm good, Molly. I need to get back to work.
36:50Bill, it has been a long night, and I am done coddling your ego.
36:55You see that woman? She hasn't slept yet.
36:58If you ignore her orders because you're some tough guy,
37:00you're going to be the reason she can't sleep again tonight.
37:03Okay.
37:05Good morning, Bill. Let's hear how those lungs are doing, shall we?
37:08Sure, Doc.
37:10Breathe in.
37:18One more.
37:24Much better.
37:26Let's continue to hit the nebulizer once every four hours,
37:29and who knows?
37:31Perhaps we'll be able to send you home later this afternoon.
37:33Thanks, Doc.
37:42Can I play outside if I change out of my church clothes, Mama?
37:44Of course you may, sweetheart.
37:46White dog?
37:47Family?
37:48Oh, my God.
37:49Let's get by.
37:50Shit.
37:51I was waiting.
37:52I'm sorry.
37:53I was waiting for you all.
37:56I've been to a party party, too.
37:57I have to do one last time.
38:00I never had to take care of my child.
38:01Okay, my child.
38:03I'll stop.
38:04I was waiting for you to be able to get to a party party.
38:06I would love to be able to play.
38:07I'm ready to pass my dog.
38:39When the lights go out, it inevitably makes you realize you take them for granted most of the time.
38:44Like so much of life that, of course, is never guaranteed but seems immutable.
38:50Like when I lost Jack and it felt like things would never be the same ever again.
38:56But eventually, I found my way back to a different but just as meaningful normal.
39:04And then came little Jack's diagnosis last fall.
39:06At first, it felt too big to ever overcome.
39:11But at some point, you have to look up, take in the new landscape, and begin to accept that although it is indeed changed forever,
39:24something beautiful can still rise from the ashes.
39:27The fire was a far-reaching tragedy, and I don't think any of us can quite yet comprehend all that's changed.
39:39The flames cruelly stole from so many, not only their past, but the future as well.
39:50We will rebuild.
39:52Fellas, thank you for coming out so late.
40:06Of course.
40:07What's on your mind, Lee?
40:08I can't stop thinking about how that fire could have started.
40:18There's a lot of ways that fire could have started.
40:21Bill, I don't know about that.
40:23I don't know.
40:24There was no lightning.
40:25Trains weren't anywhere near that ridge.
40:27There's nothing that could have sparked.
40:28What are you getting at here, Lee?
40:34How does a national park burn down the night before it opens?
40:37Hmm?
40:39Do any of you actually think this is a coincidence?
40:44I assure you, Lee, we're gonna look into this.
40:48Okay.
40:49Good.
40:50I'm glad.
40:50But I'm here to tell you you're not gonna have to look any further than A.J. McGinty.
40:54We already know he was the one behind the vandalism this summer.
41:00And there he was, right in the middle of Main Street, taunting us just hours before the fire started.
41:06And then when that didn't quench his fury over losing his precious grazing rights,
41:10just like that, decided to burn it all down.
41:15I, for one, will not rest until that man is behind bars.
41:24Not yet.
41:33I, for one, will not rest until that man is behind bars.
41:40I, for one, will not rest until that man is behind bars.
