00:00So let's get to the quarterbacks here because they're certainly going to be on the main stage here, Joe.
00:03Drake May and Sam Darnold here.
00:05And again, getting out of Stidham, which who knows what that have brought to the Super Bowl.
00:08But at least we get a young quarterback in Drake May looking to stamp his claim to,
00:13yeah, Tom Brady was great for this organization.
00:14Let me see if I can run a couple championships up the flagpole early in my career.
00:17And then there's Sam Darnold at this point, who is getting other general managers fired
00:22while he's making his run to the Super Bowl.
00:24He's been nothing short of really, really good this season.
00:27And he finds himself in the Super Bowl, Joe.
00:29So the totals for each one of these, Drake May listed at 220 and a half live.
00:33Sam Darnold, 228 and a half live.
00:35That's their passing props.
00:36And I got to tell you, I think I like them both to the over.
00:39Yeah, I like Drake May more than Darnold again.
00:42Why, though?
00:43Game script?
00:45I'm putting myself in New England and Josh McDaniels.
00:49And I'm saying I can't run the way I did.
00:52Again, I don't know what was wrong with Travion Henderson.
00:56But this defense needs Travion Henderson because you need a guy that could scoot and catch
01:01the edge, right?
01:04Ramondre Stevenson is good, but he doesn't have elite speed.
01:08And I understand he does it between the tackles, but you're not going to get that with Seattle's
01:13defense.
01:14They're going to take that away.
01:15You need a guy that can catch the edge, a la James Cook, a la, you know, an explosive
01:20home run hitter.
01:21That is Travion Henderson.
01:22So, again, I'm putting myself in Josh McDaniels' mind, and I'm saying if I'm the OC in this
01:27matchup, I've got to open up the run by throwing the football.
01:30I've got to have my quarterback get to 225.
01:33Not only that, here's the other thing.
01:35It is his first Super Bowl, obviously Darnold, too.
01:38But the point is, is that I want to get him into a rhythm.
01:41I don't want to just run the football and then worry about the second half Drake May
01:46making plays in the passing attack.
01:47I want him to get involved in the game script early, throw in the football, feel good about
01:53it himself, get the cobwebs and the butterflies out.
01:56So, that's why I like Drake May early on.
01:58I also like, Joe, the touchdown passing prop here.
02:00Now, a little bit later in the show, I actually have a best bet here as a running back prop
02:04here.
02:04So, it's a running game prop.
02:05But for me, Drake May, very manageable.
02:07Over one and a half touchdown pass in this game.
02:09Plus 130 price.
02:10Over one and a half touchdown passes for Sam Darnold.
02:12Minus 114 price.
02:14Both of them, I think, have a legitimate chance to get it.
02:16I thought, like offense, the quarterbacks are going to have to be throwing the football
02:18into the end zone.
02:19I agree.
02:20But I was going to throw a curveball at you because we always do this.
02:24We saw Drake May score.
02:26Look, it's a Super Bowl, right?
02:28Rushing yards, right?
02:30And a touchdown for both.
02:32I'm just saying, like, you got to, if Darnold gets any, if they're in a red zone opportunity
02:37and he's back there at the five-yard line and then lets you say nobody's open, I'm telling
02:43you, Donnie, he is going to dive a la Fernando Mendoza for that touchdown.
02:49I like Sam Darnold to score a touchdown because, again, if this guy is anywhere close to winning
02:56the Super Bowl, he's going to take it upon himself.
02:59He's heard the critics.
03:00He's heard all the negativity.
03:02If it is the fourth quarter and he's close to pay dirt, I'm telling you, I think he catches
03:07it.
03:07Take a look at the passing attempts in this game.
03:10Similar for both of these quarterbacks, Joe.
03:11For Drake May, listed at 30 and a half and also for Sam Darnold at 29 and a half, which
03:17is interesting to me, which those seem a little bit light here.
03:19Usually you see them in the low 33 and a half, 34 and a half.
03:22They both seem light.
03:23I'm telling you right now, defenses are going to be good.
03:25They have two weeks to scout.
03:26I understand that.
03:27But I just don't see a Super Bowl being played out.
03:29Each quarterback held under 200 yards passing, player passing, manageable, 25, 26.
03:34I think both of these quarterbacks are going to have to lead the way here with manageable
03:37numbers.
03:38They should be able to, they're all correlated to me.
03:39They are.
03:40Yeah, I agree.
03:41I feel if they are under those totals and we got a LA Ram, New England Patriots Super Bowl,
03:4813-3 that was.
03:50A horrible game.
03:51Just go to bed early.
03:52I mean, have the chicken wings in the first quarter and in the pizza and whatever you're going
03:57to have.
03:58That's it.
03:58Turn it off.
03:59It'll be an ugly watch.
04:02I just feel, and we're putting a lot of weight into how New England's won these games, right?
04:10Again, against the Chargers.
04:12And the Chargers wanted to play slow too, right?
04:15Houston didn't want to play up tempo.
04:18But because of the turnovers with the short field, that's why you got through the total.
04:23And we know Denver, with Stidham, as aggressive as they were in the first quarter, ultimately
04:28Sean Payton didn't want to be as aggressive with the weather and everything else.
04:33We know Seattle's going to be aggressive with Kubiak.
04:36Kubiak is going to push the tempo.
04:38Again, if Seattle gets the ball first, both of these quarterbacks can go through their
04:42attempts.
04:42By the way, we're going to get to the running back props in a second.
04:45Keep with the quarterbacks, Joe.
04:47Quarterbacks rushing on the ground here.
04:49Like both.
04:49Drake May, 36 and a half.
04:51Sam Darnold, six and a half.
04:53The one thing I do love about Drake May, he's very mobile at this point.
04:56You saw him bust a couple long runs against the Denver Broncos.
04:58That's what was the shame of it.
04:59Like, I actually wanted to see what Bo Nix had to offer against a good defense, because
05:03the reason I like rushing quarterbacks is when they play good defenses, you're flushed
05:07out of the pocket earlier.
05:08He can make those plays.
05:09He's going to have to.
05:10So, Drake May, legitimate chance to get 40 yards rushing in this game, Joe.
05:13Yeah, I mean, again, his number against Denver, I think, was 36 and a half, and he got the
05:17touchdown run.
05:19But six and a half for Sam Darnold?
05:21Six and a half, Donnie?
05:22That's fun.
05:23The ginger ninjas running out there?
05:24Yeah.
