00:30No, it's just a little long.
00:33Of course, the net court in girls and boys tennis.
00:39You do continue to play.
00:41So we've got three championship points.
00:48Only need one.
00:49It's another title for the Kovachkova sisters.
00:53Brilliant work from the 17-year-old and the 15-year-old from Czechia.
00:57They've won a second straight girls doubles title to win their first together at the U.S. Open in New York last September.
01:08Slightly harder second sets.
01:15Maybe just a slight drop in focus because it was all going so straightforwardly, but they get the job done.
01:23And 6-1 and 6-3.
01:27I still want to know that was pretty impressive.
01:29That was very impressive by Alina and Yana and just showed their experience of being Junior Grand Slam doubles champions already.
01:36And just incredible ball striking from the baseline, but not only that, covering the middle of the net, looking to volley and using the bomb as well.
01:44It was a great doubles performance by them today.
01:48So Ivi Jovic and Tyra Grant, the 2024 champions, the Panitschkava sisters won last year.
01:55And this time it goes to another sister act.
01:58And now, Alina and Yana won their first ever Australian Open title.
02:10And there is a proud mum.
02:13Your mum's quite proud of you too, Storm.
02:15She was on site at the Australian Open, getting some air time.
02:18Yes, she was.
02:20She came to watch and I imagine the Panitschkava sisters' mum will be super pumped with that one.
02:26She had a big smile on her face and she'd be proud of her daughters.
02:29No doubt about that.
02:30She's already on the phone.
02:32Young Yana.
02:35There's a lot of expectation on these young ladies' shoulders, but certainly living up to it, both on the singles court and even more impressively on the doubles.
02:45And they've still got plenty of time.
02:48It is a marathon and not a sprint.
02:52So it smiles all around and Storm took us through the final numbers.
02:5552 minutes.
02:57Yeah, the Panitschka sisters just dominated in all areas on the stats here with the first serve percentage at 75%.
03:03But the biggest thing was that second serve percentage points won 55% compared to 19%.
03:10So they absolutely dominated on return, especially on the second serve, just going down the line.
03:15And as we can see, 29 winners to 12 unforced errors.
03:18So a very impressive performance.
03:21They dropped a little bit there early on in the second set.
03:23A few unforced errors, but just overall such clean hitting and dominating through the middle there on the volleys.
03:29So great playing, and they were just so impressive on the serve.
03:33Only had faced two break points, lost serve once, but tidied up their ground strokes and tidied up the unforced error rate in those last two games to be able to close it out and win the Australian Open Junior girls' doubles.
03:46Not many get to say that, do they?
03:49I'm an Australian Open champion.
03:52And here was the last bit.
03:54Just a little get-together.
03:57Looked like they expected to win this, and they certainly did, dropping just four games in the final.
04:02The most they dropped in any one match was eight games.
04:04Didn't lose a set.
04:11Five matches, impressively, in these junior girls' doubles.
04:21We're going to have a little trophy ceremony here on Margaret Court Arena.
