Part 2 - I take a look at some of the synchronistic & predictive references that crop up between the Metal Gear series of video games & The Terminator (1984) franchise. For the original 1987 MSX game, Konami used a illustration of hero Solid Snake based on a publicity still of American actor Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese in the original Terminator film. Unusual easter eggs between the 2 series even spread to related works. James Cameron's The Abyss (1989) may include an unintentional (?) future nod to Liquid Snake, the main antagonist of 1998's Metal Gear Solid. I thought this may be shown in a scene around the 1 hour 4 minute mark where the alien presence manifests as a tendril of ocean water and attempts to communicate with the crew.

00:00We're talking about knowledge of the future in movies, YouTube channel, Easter Egg Psychic.
00:06In this video, I'll share some possible predictive Easter eggs to the Metal Gear series of stealth espionage and action games created by Hideo Kojima and developed and published by Japanese game maker Konami.
00:20And these are present in the films of Terminator creator James Cameron, as well as some of the associated works of the staff and cast of Terminator.
00:32Now the history between Metal Gear and Terminator is interesting.
00:38The original game developed for the MSX2 computer in 1987 and later the Nintendo Entertainment System, the NES.
00:47The packaging illustration set on the box and label was actually based on a publicity still of American actor Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese from the original Terminator film in 1984.
01:04Others in this cast included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Lance Hendrickson.
01:09And because of this, some very interesting synchronicities and predictive nods can be seen in both of these series.
01:20This extends into the realm of the past, present, and future, apparently.
01:25I thought about this briefly.
01:27I'll give a few of the ones I could think of right off the top of my head.
01:30Now the main antagonist of 1998 Metal Gear game Metal Gear Solid, a genetically modified super soldier.
01:40He leads the splinter unit Foxhound and takes over a nuclear disposal facility in Alaska.
01:48Now I thought about some references in the movies of James Cameron.
01:53The Abyss in 1989.
01:56This undersea science fiction film featured a cast with Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Michael Biehn, Chris Elliott, and Ken Jenkins.
02:08You can see this at the one hour four minute mark.
02:11And what is shown may be an illusion to the name Liquid Snake.
02:16This is one of the parts of the film highly recognized for its usage of special effects at the time.
02:24Where the alien present manifests as a tendril of ocean water.
02:31My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
02:33There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
02:36I analyze these for possible references to future media.
02:40These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams.
02:43Hidden in the subtext of the work in question, I also use an unconventional method where I look at the likenesses of the actors.
02:53And what I found is you can take the likenesses, match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
02:59and show past, present, and future information about actors and other personalities
03:05that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode that you're watching.

03:19Thanks for watching.
