Too Darn Hot is certainly rising through the ranks and looks set to become an elite stallion across both hemispheres. Already a G1 sire, his popularity extends to the sale ring as well. Sam Bullard explains why Too Darn Hot is a stallion worth getting involved with.

00:00What a story Tudon Hott is. I mean he's, he watershipped and bred him and decided to put
00:12the pink colors on him and he went to Gosden and was this brilliant brilliant two-year-old
00:16and we were lucky enough with the support of our patron to be able to buy into him
00:21and so he was destined to stand here at the end of his racing career. We sort of knew that
00:28Dubawi looked like being an exciting sire of sires and with the pedigree Tudon Hott's got,
00:34being out of Daremi who was a champion herself and the whole way through that her mother's side
00:40is incredibly strong and the breeders have supported him enormously as you know the whole way through.
00:48Well obviously Fallen Angel is a standout, should be a standout for any stallion for what she did last
00:53year. For us to have Saeed's Horse Tornado Alert when another group won was fantastic. He had
01:01over 33-year-olds last year that were rated over 90. He's had 12 group winning juveniles in his career
01:11which is more than any other stallion has had since 2000, since they retired to stud.
01:15But every metric you throw at him, he is absolutely at the top of the tree. At the sales as well,
01:23if you average his yearlings out, he's returned breeders by paying them over four times his stud fee
01:29on average. Our top breeders are so clever and as they did with Dubawi who had the reputation of not
01:35walking. So they very quickly learned what mare suits horses. And Tudon Hott's out of a Singspiel mare,
01:43so he needs a good strong mare to him and then he will throw you a fantastic little foal of yearling.
01:49Some would argue that he's done even better in the Southern Hemisphere than he has up here.
01:53He was the leading first season sower, he was the leading second season sower. He had his 10th
01:59group winner from his first crop down there the other day in Penny the Fox and he is phenomenal down
02:06there. I've got to thank Watership Down for the support they've given us, the help they've given us in
02:11generally promoting the horse. They've brought people in who we might not otherwise have been
02:16able to get hold of and they have helped hugely in America and with people like Bill Farish. So he's
02:22got great support the whole way across the Northern Hemisphere as well. I think Europe's serious breeders
02:28realise what he is and they're booking into him, they booked into him again for 2026 and if you want to
02:34get ahead of the game you need to stick with this horse now.
