00:00Straight from the Emmys to the after party, what was your favorite part of the show tonight?
00:05The fact that I did not trip down the stairs in front of Meryl Streep, that was my big concern tonight.
00:10For you, we're celebrating TV tonight and you have a new show coming out, Dr. Odyssey.
00:14What can you tell us about it?
00:15That it is a beautiful, shiny, glossy...
00:20Fantasy from Ryan Murphy.
00:21Yeah, it is...
00:22I've just seen the first two episodes and...
00:25The chemistry of the cast is great.
00:27We're getting along like a house on fire.
00:29The storylines are...
00:30It's really fast, it's Ryan Murphy dialogue, so it has that sizzle and crackle to it.
00:35Situations are outlandish and over the top and the sets are beautiful, the clothes are beautiful.
00:39Yeah, it's a happy place.
00:40It's a happy place to be for an hour.
00:41Ryan Murphy is always referred to as a prolific TV producer.
00:45What do you think it is that makes him so prolific and just creating, you know, show after show that's a hit?
00:50Well, clearly he's got a hell of an imagination, right, that he just keeps...
00:55On coming up with these ideas, but I also just, I think that he loves television.
00:59I think that he loves...
01:00He loves long-form storytelling and he is unusual in that he...
01:05He also has these two, like, really distinct pieces of himself, right?
01:08He has the very, very dark...
01:10And then he has the lighter, sort of comedic, sometimes musical...
01:15Side of him, and he's able to do both with equal genius.
01:18I mean, it's pretty impressive.
01:20Also, you are in the new Karate Kid movie, correct?
01:22Yes.
01:23Very highly anticipated.
01:24Everybody is very...
01:25Very excited for this crossover between, you know, Jackie and Ralph.
01:28What can you share about...
01:30Working on it?
01:31It was a ton of fun.
01:33I can't share too much and we'll be talking...
01:35Talking about that later on in the year, but...
01:37Yeah, I mean, you hit on the big pieces.
01:38The young man who is playing the new...
01:40Karate Kid did Yeoman's work.
01:42I'm so impressed with the physical work that he did.
01:45To be able to do that, because it's no CG, it's all practical effects, he actually did it.
01:50Which is very unusual these days.
01:52And, yeah, I think...
01:54I mean, I haven't seen the movie, but...
01:55I'm hoping it's what everybody hopes it to be.
01:57Where did you film it?
01:58Was it in Japan?
01:59Montreal, no.
02:00Yeah, yeah, we shot it in Montreal.
02:05Where did you film it?
02:15Yeah.
02:20Copenhagen...
02:21...
02:22...
02:26...
02:30...
02:31...
02:31...
02:32...
