00:35and that's not exactly high art either but it is generally regarded as one of the better video
00:40game movies I know low bar critics so far have called the film not
00:45scary overacted generally pretty dull and there are a lot of complaints that it's
00:50nonsensical and confusing so whilst Christoph Gans gets complimented for under
00:55understanding perhaps the look of Silent Hill maybe not so much the context I think we all
01:00knew that this was a realistic possibility from the get-go I mean adapting an eight-hour video
01:05game into a 90-minute film is always going to be tough let alone when it's as complex and new
01:10wants to sign at hill 2 is and I'll give plenty of rope but there's always a line and even
01:15from day one they and they revealed the film why did James Sunderland look like that he goes from like
01:20meekest man alive to your cool try hard edgy uncle it's just what is this
