00:10...
00:16...
00:17Oh, and that's bad news. Phil Bauhaus punctures!
00:20Oh, and another problem here.
00:21Fabio Jakobson's got cramp.
00:24We've lost two...
00:25Sprinters, real powerful finish.
00:28It's two from two.
00:30For Johnny Milan.
00:35Jonathan Milan has so far reigned supreme at this Alula tour.
00:40But the Italian sprinter is set to be divested of his green jersey today as the GC game.
00:45We are heading for a summit finish on Birgida Mountain Worker.
00:50So the climbers will take centre stage and perhaps a first step towards winning this race, which hasn't been...
00:55too kind to them over the first two days.
01:00Yeah, it's been a tough start to Alula tour, a lot harder than last year.
01:05I would say the crosswinds have played havoc.
01:08Yeah, I guess today in the final stage...
01:10It's a big GC day, I would say.
01:12I mean, a bonus second is going to be important, so...
01:15Yeah, we're going to throw everything at it and see what we can do today.
01:20After a difficult start to the race, Jan Christen is a man to watch today.
01:25Although the Swiss youngster insists that UAE Team Emirates XRG have several options.
01:30in the final.
01:34We have also kept...
01:35Kevin and Igor, we are all in good condition and we try to play our cards.
01:40and try to win the stage.
01:42Your objective is to win the Alula tour?
01:44I see.
01:45I mean, we see.
01:46I lost quite some time now.
01:48The goal is for sure too.
01:50to win the Tour with the team.
01:52It doesn't matter which rider, but for sure it would be nice if I...
01:55I can take a stage win home.
01:56I can take a stage win home.
02:00142 kilometers on...
02:05On the menu in this third stage, from the Winter Park to Birgida Mountain Worker.
02:10Tom Pidcock won on this climb last year en route to overall victory, although the riders will
02:14be going in...
02:15in the opposite direction today.
02:17All of the day's sprints come in the last 50 kilometers.
02:20With bonus seconds available, 13k from the line.
02:25We'll be right back.
02:26We'll be right back.
02:30We'll be right back.
02:35Well, things were a little bit more relaxed in the peloton compared to the first two
02:40days of this Alula tour, which meant the early breakaway actually got a bit of screen time.
02:45Three men at the front, including Nader Hazazi of the Saudi national team, as this race
02:50continues to promote cycling in the region.
02:55One who's cycling team was in the mood for the third day running.
02:58The Malaysian was joined by his compatriot...
03:00and team-mate Ziyi-Ki, who was no doubt targeting the orange jersey for the most active run.
03:05He began the day just to point down on Mark Donovan in that classification.
03:10Heading into the final 60 kilometers of the stage, their lead was...
03:15covering at about two minutes.
03:17The peloton being paced by UAE team member...
03:20and Tudor Pro Cycling, working for their respective Swiss leaders, Jan Christen.
03:25and Yanis Voisar.
03:26No major stress for the sprinters today.
03:30Fabio Jakobsen looking on better form after he cramped up yesterday.
03:34And the race leader...
03:35Jonathan Millan just keeping out of trouble in the middle of the bunch.
03:40Well, three soon became two at the front, as Kian Rosti left Hazazi behind.
03:44The two Malaysians...
03:45forging on together...
03:46and slightly increasing their lead.
03:50The riders continuing to widen...
