Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles says the government appears to be targeting Venezuelan migrants as a source of revenue.

She adds that, while the government praised its 2025–2026 Fiscal Plan, recent measures including, increased traffic fines suggest the budget may not have been as beneficial as claimed.
