00:00Finally, the Ricoh GR4. It's in my hand! I've been using the GR3 for years.
00:05It's my everyday carry. I'm going to swap it out for this one. I'm going to have it for a few weeks, take portraits.
00:10Reportage, street photography, all that kind of stuff. I'm going to let you know what I think along the way.
00:15I'll start off with my first impressions, so let's go take a walk.
00:19I really, really, really...
00:20I really love this tree.
00:23I'm going to take a quick pick of it.
00:25I'm a big fan of the hard monotone profile. On a day like today, sunny.
00:30Clouds in the sky. It's going to really add to the drama. It makes really deep rich.
00:35Dark skies.
00:37For some people, this is a big upgrade. There's a bigger battery inside.
00:40Now up to 242 watts. What's 200 before? I didn't mind the poor battery life from before.
00:45I just honestly loved having a camera. I could slip in my pocket.
00:48So battery life wasn't a big deal for me.
00:50But if it was for you, good news. 20% improvement inside.
00:55Alongside that bigger battery is a smaller micro SD card slot rather than SD.
01:00I don't think that's a problem for this camera.
01:02This is an everyday photography camera. You're not really going to use it.
01:05I'm using it for video. It shoots 1080p video, but it's a photographer's camera really.
01:10So what might be perceived as a downgrade in their memory type, for me, doesn't.
01:15Doesn't matter. I love it.
