00:00Giannis Antetokounmpo, is his time coming to an end in Milwaukee?
00:03I mean, first of all, I don't even know if this guy's healthy or not,
00:06let alone we don't even know what these tea leaves really even mean.
00:10Does he really want to go? Does he want to stay?
00:12Rich Paul may be getting involved in this situation too.
00:15I guess we'll have to listen to his podcast to find that out.
00:18I mean, you can't make this stuff up.
00:20The good news here to me is it's one season without James Harden asking for a trade.
00:25I feel like we're seven years in of every single season with this,
00:28but I don't know. What do you make of this, Gilbert?
00:30This is a really hard one for me because I root for these small markets like Milwaukee to survive.
00:36How do they survive without Giannis if they make a deal like this?
00:40You know what, Craig? It's been hard to get a read on this Giannis situation.
00:43It kind of feels like he has been torn, honestly,
00:46in that he realizes that the Bucs can't really do much as currently constructed
00:50and everything that they've traded in years past to get guys like Drew Holiday and Damian Lillard
00:55has basically stripped them of any assets to bring anybody else in.
00:58And it almost feels like we're working to an inevitable ending of them having to trade him
01:03and part ways with him for the franchise's health and future long term.
01:08But I believe that Giannis is too loyal to actually ask for that trade.
01:12And I feel like he's kind of wanting them to do the work for him and say,
01:16look, OK, we've reached the end of the road. Let's do it.
01:19But until that happens, it just kind of feels like it'll be this long stalemate.
01:22And now the trade deadline is nine days away.
01:24So it could happen and it might not happen.
01:27And we're having this conversation again in the offseason.
01:30So it's an interesting saga, a tricky saga.
01:32But I think Giannis' loyalty is where it all stems from.
