00:26Time magazine cited two Iranian health ministry officials in a report claiming that more than

00:39UN special reporter for Iran, Maie Sato, said she had received indications that the actual
00:46number may reach tens of thousands. Dr. Hashim Mozenzadeh, a France-based surgeon with hospital
00:53contacts inside Iran, told Euronews Farsi that at least 22,000 deaths had been recorded in
01:00forensic facilities. Mozenzadeh said evidence showed security forces shot people who were
01:07fleeing, and more than 900 bodies were transported to a Tehran cemetery in the space of 36 hours.
01:15He added that several medical personnel have been arrested for treating protesters and for
01:21refusing to cooperate with security officers. Human rights organizations have reported that
01:27Iranian security forces unlawfully used rifles, shotguns loaded with metal pellets,
01:34water cannons, tear gas and beatings against largely peaceful protesters.
