‘Make Iran Great Again’: Los Angeles Erupts With Calls To Topple Tehran’s Rulers

Hundreds of demonstrators marched through the streets of Los Angeles to denounce Iran’s deadly crackdown on nationwide protests and to demand regime change in Tehran. Carrying Iranian and Israeli flags along with “Make Iran Great Again” signs, protesters shared emotional accounts of killings inside Iran and urged international action. Several demonstrators appealed directly to President Donald Trump and Western leaders, saying global intervention was needed to end clerical rule. Rights groups say more than 3,000 people have been killed since protests erupted in late December over economic hardship and expanded into calls for the fall of the Islamic Republic.
