00:00What are four of the biggest names in country music up to?
00:05Because something's brewing and it's going to be big.
00:08Yesterday, Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Hardy, and Morgan Wallen
00:12all posted similar cryptic graphics on their Instagram accounts.
00:18They're pictures of what appear to be leather-bound books
00:22with a man's name inscripted on the cover,
00:27which also includes what looks like birth and death dates.
00:32Morgan's, however, is his real birth date listed and no death date.
00:35Okay, so here we are.
00:36Tim McGraw posted John MacArthur with the dates November 2nd, 1920,
00:42to November 22nd, 1963.
00:45Eric Church posted Junior MacArthur, September 20th, 1945,
00:50to April 4th, 1967.
00:53So we can assume that would be father and son.
00:55John and then Junior, right?
00:57But then Hardy posted Jones MacArthur, June 5th, 1968, to January 5th, 2025.
01:05Now, those don't line up for Jones to have been Junior's son
01:11because Junior died April 4th of 67,
01:15and Jones was born in June of 68.
01:19So that doesn't work out.
01:20And then finally, Hunter MacArthur, which was posted by Morgan Wallen,
01:23with Morgan's real birth date, May 13th, 1993.
01:28So Eric Church, at a recent concert,
01:32said something big is coming January 30th, which is this Friday.
01:37That being the day that a lot of new music is released.
01:41Singles are released on Fridays, right?
01:43So we can assume maybe that this is a song
01:48that has something to do with these four MacArthur people.
01:52I don't know.
01:53But if you do a deep dive into each of these artists,
01:56I mean, a lot of them have their fair share of story songs
01:59that are a little dark.
02:00There's also a German fan page dedicated to Morgan Wallen
02:03that discovered that a song called MacArthur
02:05is registered to ASCAP, okay?
02:08And that Hardy is one of the co-writers.
02:11Now, the other writers on there are Jameson Rogers,
02:13also Chase McGill, who has written a number of Morgan Wallen songs,
02:19and a guy named Joshua Dennis Anthony Bagels.
02:22Excuse me?
02:23I don't know why he has so many names, but there it is.
02:26And he wrote Morgan's This Side of a Dust Cloud
02:30along with Hardy and Chase McGill.
02:31So those are the songwriters for a song called MacArthur.
02:35No artist has been set yet as to who is going to be performing it.
02:39But with those powerhouses of Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Hardy,
02:45and Morgan Wallen all posting, referencing a MacArthur,
02:50we can assume that they're all going to do it together?
02:53I don't know.
02:53I could be wrong here.
02:54It feels like this could be bigger than just one song,
02:57but maybe they're just really amping up one song release.
03:01I don't know.
03:01This is exciting, though.
03:02It is bigger than that, though, right?
03:04Doesn't it?
03:05I agree, Jeff.
03:06I was thinking the same thing, an album maybe titled MacArthur
03:09with the first single being MacArthur.
03:12And it's really cool because this reminds me of supergroup stuff
03:14like the Highwaymen.
03:15Right.
03:16Yeah.
03:16They all join together.
03:18So can you imagine?
03:20That would be really neat.
03:21What would they be called?
03:22The Kings?
03:22I don't even know.
03:24The Outsiders.
03:25Like, I don't know, right?
03:26I like that.
03:27Whoa.
03:27I know.
03:28And it's neat because they're all four are from different areas, right?
03:33Like, they're all kind of generations.
03:35They're all different.
03:36Yeah.
03:36So they all represent something different.
03:39But Friday's the big day.
03:40So I guess we'll have to wait to find out.
