01:24You've got your team of Wardens, now it's time to choose your base.
01:31Prior to venturing into High Guard, you'll be randomly presented with four options for your home base.
01:37Your team will vote on which one feels like the best fit for you.
01:40The enemy team gets the same four choices.
01:42Each base is the size of a classic small team deathmatch map.
01:49They all have different layouts and visual styles, but most importantly,
01:54distinct attack and defensive strengths and weaknesses that depend on your playstyle.
02:01Once you've selected your Warden and your base, you spawn in.
02:06You have one minute to plan your defenses and pick your starting loadout.
02:10Every Warden can use any weapon.
02:14Select your primary, secondary, and your raid tool.
02:19You can change your loadout at the beginning of every match.
02:22Each player also starts with five wall reinforcements,
02:25which they can use to armor up different areas of their base.
02:29Once the defensive phase is up, your base unlocks and your team mounts up and rides out.

02:37Teams are fighting for control of the Shieldbreaker.
02:40Which is the key to starting a raid on the other team.
02:43But the Shieldbreaker takes a few minutes to form.
02:46During this time, players should explore different points of interest and loot better gear.

02:52Got a saber rifle.
02:54Armor,
02:55better saddles,
02:56and magical amulets that are imbued with perks.

03:54and he will happily sell you better armor,

03:59Appreciate the kindness.
04:01So hunt down or purchase the best loot possible,
04:03and win those skirmishes.

04:13During the gear-up phase,
04:15always make sure you're keeping one eye on the sky.
04:17Storm's brewing, and Shieldbreaker should be ready soon.
04:20When the storm forms,
04:23the Shieldbreaker's location is revealed.
04:24It randomly spawns in one of three unique points of interest.
04:29Once that Shieldbreaker forms,
04:30nothing else matters.
04:33Rally up,
04:34and fight for possession.
04:36If your team manages to secure the Shieldbreaker,
04:39your objective is to get to the enemy base,
04:41and start the raid.
04:43But,
04:43the enemy team will do everything in their power
04:45to stop you from getting to their base.
04:47Gank,
04:48time to attack.
04:54If you die,
04:55you'll drop the Shieldbreaker,
04:56and the enemy team can pick it up,
04:58let's mount up,
04:59and soar to victory.
05:00and run it to your base,
05:02and start their own raid.
05:03Once you get to the enemy base,
05:05plant the Shieldbreaker,
05:07and start the raid.
05:07The raid begins with the summoning of your Siege Tower
05:12that will break through the enemy's outer shield,
05:15and become your spawn point during the raid.

05:20The defending team will be able to teleport back to their base,

05:34but in order to successfully penetrate a well-defended base,
05:38you'll need to use your Warden's abilities and your raid tool.
05:41Every Warden comes equipped with one raid tool of their choice.
05:44You can choose between a rocket launcher for a more straightforward approach,
05:48a zipline gun for when your attack plan requires coming in from above,
05:53or a blast hammer when you just want to bring it all down.
05:59Different tools are more effective for different bases.
06:04Once inside the base,
06:07your objective is to sabotage enemy generators.
06:10Let's blow this place sky high!
06:12Once the bomb is planted,
06:14you'll need to hold the objective
06:15while the enemy team tries to flush you out

06:20and disarm the charge.
06:21Each base has two generators
06:24and an anchor stone.
06:25If a generator is successfully destroyed,
06:28it does 35 damage to the enemy base.
06:30If you can get to the anchor stone,
06:34which is harder to assault,
06:35more heavily reinforced,
06:37and has a longer countdown,
06:38it completely destroys the enemy base,
06:41ending the match in victory.
06:45Getting the enemy base to zero health
06:47is how you win the game.
06:49This often ends in a generator blowing up,
06:51but not always.
06:53There are other ways to do damage to the enemy base.
06:55For example,
06:56planting a shieldbreaker and starting a raid
06:58will damage the base.
07:00And it's not just about attacking.
07:02Successfully defending your own base
07:04will damage the attacking team's base,
07:06so you can win with a great defense.
07:10If a raid is successfully defended,
07:12the game is not over.
07:14Damage is done to your base,
07:15and that base health does not regenerate.
07:17Players will respawn at their base
07:19and ride out for another gear-up phase.
07:22As the match progresses,
07:25all the loot in the map upgrades.
07:28The weapons get stronger,
07:30the armor and equipment improves,
07:32and the stakes get higher.
07:35A match can go anywhere from one raid to four,
07:38which means matches can last anywhere
07:40from eight minutes to around 30 minutes
07:42if the teams are really trading raids.
07:47Winning a match will often come down
07:48to a clutch bomb plant
07:50with a few seconds left on the clock.

08:01with mobility,
08:03positioning,
08:04and shooting skills
08:05out in the open world.
