00:10The Bike Riders. But appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race is one dream he still has yet to accomplish.

00:19Sonny in The Bike Riders. He spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the movie,
00:24as well as his AMC series Ride with Norman Reedus, revealing why his dream guests for
00:28the show are Cher and RuPaul. The Bike Riders is inspired by the Danny Lyon photo book of the
00:42same name that documented the lives of a motorcycle club outside Chicago in the 1960s. Reedus was a
00:48fan of the book before shooting the movie, even having a few prints at home and a book signed by
00:52Lyon. Being a fan of the book, were you already super familiar with this time period and what
00:57bike culture was like in the 60s? Yeah, you know, a lot of the photos that I
01:02collect as inspiration for Daryl for the last 13 years have been some of Danny's photos.
01:09As far as the culture goes, I'm pretty well versed in the culture.
01:13The actor's knowledge of motorcycle culture comes as no surprise for those who've watched
01:17his docu-travel series Ride with Norman Reedus, which sees the star ride around different cities
01:22with special guests. Who's one person you'd love to go on a ride with that you haven't gotten the
01:26chance to ride with yet? Cher. I tweeted RuPaul because I'm like obsessed with Drag Race.
01:32So I was trying to get RuPaul on and he wrote me back and said it's always been a dream of his,
01:37but keep him in mind for he doesn't know how to ride a bike. But I was going to try to figure it
01:42out. But I think Cher, I think Cher still rides too. Would you go on Drag Race? I would. Yeah,
01:48don't tell anyone, but I would. And I think they know that I would. I just don't have any sense of
01:52fashion. So I don't know that I would be a good judge, but I literally watch that show and break
01:58into tears. Like I like something about like you build this thing and there's this reasons why and
02:04and they do it and they I'm just like, I love it. I love it. It's like one of my favorite shows.
