Transcript
00:00What did you think when you first read the script?
00:03I thought it was incredible.
00:04I mean, Jeff Nichols is the best writer and director I've ever met.
00:09And his previous work is just gold.
00:12So, yeah, it was easy.
00:14Did you have a relationship with motorcycles beforehand,
00:17or was this kind of the first foray into it?
00:19Yeah, absolutely.
00:20A love-hate relationship.
00:22Yeah, yeah.
00:22I broke my hip riding motorcycles when I was a kid.
00:26But, yeah, I grew up riding dirt bikes and Harleys,
00:28and it was good to get back on the bike.
00:31Did you have to do as much training then, or were you pretty, like, well-versed?
00:35I was ready to go.
00:36Yeah, absolutely.
00:38And it feels like a bunch of you have been kind of long-time riders.
00:41Who was the best one of you of the group?
00:44Riding?
00:45Yeah.
00:45Ooh.
00:48Probably Corky, probably Carl Glessman.
00:50He's done.
00:52I'm getting different answers from everyone,
00:53so it seems like this is very competitive.
00:55And this is a genre that we don't really see so much anymore,
01:00this kind of biker movie.
01:01Why do you kind of feel like that faded out,
01:03and the value of bringing it back?
01:08I mean, I think this is like a love story, you know,
01:10a love letter to this time,
01:12and to, like, all the misfits out there that are looking for a place in the world.
01:17And, you know, they go looking for it, you know,
01:20and they found it in this club.
01:22But it is, I haven't seen the film yet,
01:25so you may know more than me.
01:27How are you feeling watching it for the first time with people?
01:31I'm excited.
01:31I know Jeff doesn't miss, though.
01:33That's, yeah, I'm excited.
01:35I know Jeff doesn't miss.
