00:00Check out this killer double smash burger and then pulled inspiration from my boy Soddy. Let's jump into it. Starts off with their love sauce. That's what they named it. We'll get into it. I'm not really fully measuring, but we got about a cup of Japanese mayo. We've got some ketchup, a little bit of yellow mustard, a few dabs of the Melinda's Sriracha Hot Sauce. I know this is crazy. A little bit of honey, but it all ties together.
00:28Adding some smoked paprika and then as much pepper and salt to taste. So we're rolling with the killer red mint real salt, adding a lot in there. And then you're just binding this together. This is going to go on the buns of the smash burger. We'll put that in the fridge and get to the rest of this cook.
00:48So I'm going to incorporate onions into my burger patty. So the trick here is to just slice these onions as thin as possible. So they cook really quickly. So, and then the best way to get these burgers done is this killer Wagyu ground beef.
01:06And all I'm going to do is quarter these squares and just lightly ball it. You don't want to press too much. Just lightly ball it because we're going to start smashing.
01:16So first we're going to add the onions to the Traeger Flat Rock. We're going to add a little bit more salt. That's all we're using in this cook is salt upon salt.
01:25Just add some flavor and that's it. So we've got the ground beef smashing. We want to get that smash burger going. Get a nice crust built up. A little bit more salt. Then we'll do the flip.
01:40You can see the onions are cooking into the ground beef. Just another flavor, another crisp. Just killer all around. And these only take about five minutes.
01:50Got to go with the real authentic American cheese. The best cheese. The real, real cheese that people say is not real, but whatever. Get that all melted up.
02:01This is the kicker, the cheesy buns. So I'm just using, it's not parquet, but it's another version of parquet. Butter and cheese.
02:08We want to make some cheesy buns. So you get that cheese to stick. You put it on the griddle. Obviously, it doesn't take very long.
02:18And then you've got a crazy crunchy cheese chip that's going to be built into this bun that you'll see right now.
02:26So flipping that bun. Look at that. You can just eat these buns by themselves, let alone adding.
02:30So the love sauce, that's my dear friend Manu's special recipe. She gets all the credit.
02:37You can just eat it right out of the bowl. So we've got to add plenty of that. Got some pickled red onions.
02:42And we're going with a double patty.
