On Friday evening, a car drove through the entrance of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, striking a ticket counter and injuring six people. The Wayne County Airport Authority confirmed that the driver was taken into custody, while the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Airport fire crews treated the injured at the scene. Footage shared on social media showed a blue sedan stopped in front of Delta Air Lines counters inside the departure lobby, with glass and debris scattered across the entrance, which was later cordoned off with police tape.
