Bull Angus — Bull Angus 1971 (USA, Hard Rock)
The band "Bull Angus" from Poughkeepsie, New York, was formed in the late 1960s by members of the Italian community. Its lineup has remained consistent throughout its existence. The band rented a farm in Rhinebeck for rehearsals, and since the area was surrounded by Angus cattle pastures, that's where the band's name came from. The band didn't travel far outside the state, but they performed quite actively and eventually caught the attention of Mercury Records. After signing a contract, the band headed to UltraSonic Studios in Hampstead, with Vinny Testa volunteering to oversee the sessions. As for the songwriting, the process was collaborative.
