00:00Card games. Do you love them or do you hate them?
00:10Vampire Crawler started as a simple idea. Fast, turn-based combat.
00:15Turn-based games are fantastic, but sometimes they become slow and repetitive to the point that a lot of modern games offer speed-up functions as well as the option to skip animations.
00:25But seeing the flashy animations of cool abilities is one of the best things.
00:31That's why in Vampire Crawlers, you don't have to wait for animations to complete to be able to keep triggering abilities.
00:37The game is smart enough to not bombard the first enemy in front of you and instead properly spread the effects of your abilities across various targets as if you'd used your abilities one at a time.
00:48It's called Turbo Turn. Your abilities are represented by randomly drawn cards.
00:53This allows you to attack quickly and avoid having to manage too many resources.
00:58Every character has a different deck of cards they start with, and you can choose new ones when you level up.
01:03All of this makes Vampire Crawlers very easy to play, even for someone who has never played a deck-building game before.
01:09But that's just scratching the surface. As you keep discovering relics and treasures, you'll also find out new ways to play your cards.
01:17Something that veteran deck-builder players might enjoy is the gem customization mechanic.
01:23Gems allow you to customize your cards with all sorts of effects, from simple damage multipliers to weapon evolutions.
01:30There's also head-scratching modifiers that sound incredibly useless, but in the end can create another crazy world-ending combo.
01:38So regardless if you love or hate card games, we hope that you'll find fun in playing Vampire Crawlers.
01:44And we'd love to hear your opinion about the game when the demo releases on Steam and Xbox on February 23rd.
01:50Thanks for watching and see you soon for your first Cruel!
