00:20a road divider before falling into the seven-metre-deep pit that was under construction by a government

00:27Although barriers were in place, the pit had no solid covering.
00:32Wiliamil sustained a broken arm and was rushed to a hospital for treatment, while his passenger
00:36Muhammad Al-Madi Hassan was trapped in his seat that was submerged in water.
00:41He was pronounced dead at the scene.
00:44Lahad Datu Fire Station Chief Somswa Rashid said firemen received the emergency call at
00:497.04 a.m. and arrived within four minutes.
