00:00It's not a mistake. It's so much more than a mistake.
00:03It's an absolute insult.
00:05It's an insult to 457 families who lost someone in Afghanistan.
00:11How dare he say we weren't on the front end?
00:14How dare he?
00:17We have always been there.
00:18Whenever the Americans have wanted us, we have always been there.
00:22I went out to the United States at the beginning of the year
00:24and I had supper with a lot of Republicans who, to be quite honest,
00:29I didn't exactly expect to get on with and have a great deal to do with.
00:32But the one thing that was clearly there,
00:34there was a genuine affection for the United Kingdom
00:36because they understood they were all military men
00:38and they knew that whenever they had been fighting,
00:41they had been fighting alongside someone from Britain
00:43who had been there to support the United States
00:45and be involved in action with the United States.
00:48How dare this man who's never seen any action,
00:50who somehow or other, when there was a draft for everybody else in the United States,
00:54managed to avoid it and yet now is commander-in-chief
00:56and knows nothing about how it is that America has been defended.
01:00I mean, seriously, it's an absolute insult.
01:03We have had a very shocking few days.
01:05We've had a very shocking few days.
01:07We have had the leader of Britain's most important ally,
01:11you know, with whom we do have a close relationship
01:13in terms of defence, in terms of security,
01:15strong economic relationship, cultural, historic.
01:18You know, America's our friends.
01:20But we have had a leader of that country
01:23who has behaved in a way which is bullying,
01:26which is rude, which has been deliberately trying to undermine us,
01:30which has been trying to undermine NATO.
01:32And you wonder, where does this end?
01:33It's as if he has no anchor.
01:35It's as if he has no off button.
01:37And what we have done, fortunately,
01:39and I'm really proud that we have,
01:42is we have stood, we have linked arms
01:44with our other friends and nations,
01:45and we have said no, enough, Donald Trump.
01:48No more of this.
01:50You are not getting Greenland.
01:51You are not introducing tariffs.
01:53You are not going to be involved in military action.
01:55You are not going to breach international law.
01:57This is the line.
01:59Do not cross it.
