This episode of Wild On with Brooke Burke, filmed in Casablanca, Morocco, and the Canary Islands of Spain, was originally broadcast by E! Entertainment Television in 2002, but is from a 7-part recording that aired in 2004. I hope Dailymotion doesn't instantly delete and block this Wild On video like they did with my video about MTV's music channels shutting down for having "copyrighted" music videos. They deleted it before I could even edit it, citing "protecting audiovisual rights" even though the videos were silent. Anyway, enjoy this episode of Wild On, Casablanca.

00:00Welcome to Casablanca.
00:11Experience Morocco.
00:15Like nothing you've ever dreamt of in your life.
00:18Sea, sex and sand. I love that.
00:20I've seen some of the most beautiful women in the world right here.
00:23Casablanca is really a party place. It's a nice place to be.
00:27Embrace the Canary Islands.
00:31Insanity at its finest. Toilet, ma'am, kiosk.
00:35It's fantastic. Everything is fantastic.
00:37It's crazy. A lot of partying.
00:39Making people everywhere.
00:41Two wild locations, one wild hour.
00:44We're getting wild on Casablanca next.
00:47Welcome to Wild On. I'm Brooke Burke.
01:02Now, most Westerners don't know much about Casablanca besides the film.
01:06But in the next hour, we'll unveil not only this Moroccan city, but several other mystical places that you've only heard about.
01:13So climb aboard the Marrakesh Express because we are wild on Casablanca.
01:17Morocco!
01:18It's amazing. It's something that you just have to see.
01:22You can see everything in Morocco. You have Marrakesh. You have the beach. You have the Sahara in Morocco. You have two coasts. The Mediterranean. The Atlantic. And it's beautiful.
01:35In the next hour, we'll tour Morocco's choice of spots. Plus, we'll jump offshore to the nearby Canary Islands. Now, that's a lot of ground to cover. So I've brought along actress Opal and Chell and playmate Jessica Lee to help reveal the truth about these exotic lands.
01:52People think Morocco is some third world country. It's not.
01:55Now, let's clear up some misperceptions.
01:58No one seems to mind too much what we wear. We haven't had much hassle about that.
02:02We've talked to a number of Moroccans about this and they say it's the way things are changing and people seem to be accepting it.
02:09Two girls travelling alone. So before we came, we had a lot of warnings from people that, you know, you're going to get really hassled by everyone, especially because she's got blonde hair.
02:16But I think the opposite. Everyone's been really nice to us.
02:19We will come open arms anytime.
02:23Of course, plenty of what you've heard is true.
02:26It's very, very hot.
02:28I've heard about 112 on up.
02:30A few people speak English, but not so many.
02:33Say Assalamualaikum.
02:34I'm sorry?
02:35Assalamualaikum.
02:36Oh my goodness. Assalamualaikum.
02:38Por favor, una cerveza.
02:41If Spanish is more your style, Spain's Canary Islands lie just off Morocco's shore.
02:47Yeah, it's really nice. It's got a good nightlife. The weather's lovely. It's great.
02:50Black sandy beaches. I haven't seen those before in the States.
02:54But the best part about the Canaries is carnival.
02:57It's a really great carnival. Something like the Rio carnival.
03:01It was the most incredible event I've ever been to in my life.
03:04I've heard it's compared to Mardi Gras.
03:06Not to Thompson. Everybody got in trouble and up in a good time, basically.
03:09A lot of nice, very sexy girls. Fantastic.
03:13Probably one of the first things that comes to mind when you hear Casablanca is Bogey, Bacal, or Rick's American Cafe.
03:21But what most newcomers don't realize is that the beach has quite an allure.
03:25Actually, it's not the beach itself, but it's a collection of beach clubs that make it so unique.
03:29Let's go see what it's all about.
03:30How would you describe the beach clubs?
03:36Oh, the beach club is awesome, actually.
03:40At sunset, Casablanca's beach clubs offer a peaceful retreat from Moroccan mayhem.
03:46Visaha. Visaha. To Morocco. Casablanca. To the Moroccan sunset. To the Moroccan sunset.
03:54But once night falls, the beach clubs take on a whole new life form.
03:59Moroccan party.
04:13It's the place to be. Vanity. Vanity. Vanity. Vanity.
04:15It's off the hook. It's wild. It's wild.
04:17Let me tell you what.
04:18I've seen some of the most beautiful women in the world right here in Vanity.
04:21If you ever speak English right here, you get the best ever chick right here, man.
04:26No, for real.
04:27You got a hickey?
04:28Yesterday, over here. Some hot chick.
04:33Moroccan, we know how to party.
04:35We have fun every night. I dance.
04:38Yes, a lot.
04:45It's really hype. Very selective. Beautiful people. Nice place to be.
04:57You know, for a Muslim country, this is one of the only places in the Arab world where you can serve drinks and have fun and listen to good music. And it's great. It's really great.
05:06This is the best here in Casablanca. So, welcome to Morocco.
05:13Now, this is Sidi Abdirrahman. And it's named after one of the first holy men in Casablanca. And he's buried inside the mausoleum in a tomb. And it's believed that you can go there and make a wish for the future. Now, I'm not leaving Casablanca missing that opportunity. Let's go check it out.
05:29It's a little bit of a trek over there, but well worth it. I'm going to cross that body of water, head up the steps, go inside. And I think I'm probably going to need to cover up a little bit. I can't imagine going into the mosque in my bikini.
05:46Because I may have to borrow my producer's shirt. It's cold.
05:53Going to need a shirt. It's cold. Now, women also come here for healing. And they jump on seven of the rocks to cure things like eyesight problems. If they can't have babies, they come here for a spiritual healing.
06:07It's freezing. I wonder if there's another way to get over there. I saw an inner tube.
06:14One or two.
06:15Ready? Go make a wish. I wish for my clothes back.
06:39To the taxi. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
06:42What to wish. What to wish. What to wish. What to wish.
06:57Almost there. Definitely a better way to go. To taxi.
07:06We're going to make my wish for a candle.
07:24When I'm around.
07:28I'm going to make my wish with the candle.
07:42And some people, they buy...
07:44Yes, they buy chickens and potatoes.
07:47That's the hen that's called, that's the food waste.
08:04Oh, no, no, no, no.
08:10We were all getting tents in there.
08:12There was a chicken in there.
08:13They were going to cut the chicken and they took me behind this tray
08:16and put my hands against this metal thing.
08:19It was very dark.
08:20Lots of incense.
08:22Lots of stuff going on in there.
08:25It says there is no God except God.
08:27Can I make my wish?
08:29Oh, it's very special.
08:34My date's for lunch.
08:35My dinner.
08:37This is amazing.
08:42This is amazing.
08:46Coming up, playmate Jessica Lee is helping some local lovelies dress for success.
08:51She looks so beautiful.
08:53And later, Opal and Chell is working her charms.
08:56Why do I always end up with things like that in my hand?
09:01It's all ahead on Wild on Casablanca.
09:03It's time for Carnival.
09:12Just miles from Casablanca, the Canary Islands are celebrating the world's second-largest Carnival.
09:22The election of the Queen kicks off the party, and we've let playmate Jessica Lee loose at the scene.
09:37Hi, I'm Jessica Lee, and I'm here on the Canary Islands celebrating Carnival.
09:41The one thing I've learned about Carnival is you can't have it without a queen.
09:46So follow me, and we'll find out how these girls get ready for the big events.
09:49When I was a little girl, I was in the Carnival, so now I am a queen mower for the Carnival, and I like it.
10:12I have been in the gym three months, the costume 300 kilos.
10:20That's a big costume.
10:21Yes.
10:22Is it hard to get into the dress?
10:24Yes, no, you won't see me.
10:27Yeah, I would love to see you get into the dress.
10:30The flower of Venezuela, the flowers typical of my country.
10:35It's so beautiful.
10:37It's very beautiful.
10:39So many people helping me, how to walk, how to dance, how to get up and spin so that the feathers keep moving.
10:52For me, tonight is very emotional. I'm going to try and enjoy this as much as I can, because I love Carnival.
11:00I would be very excited to be queen of Carnival for this town.
11:03So now you're judging the contest tonight, what will you be looking for?
11:09They've told me that I must, you know, judge the dress and the facial qualities, but it must be an overall thing, you know.
11:17So now that the girls are all dressed, it's time for the hard part, actually walking on stage. Check them out.
11:22They were all different in their own way. Bold, beautiful, big and different, non-traditional. I could get into them. I don't know about walking in it.
11:43Some of them look really painful.
11:57Those dresses are beautiful and those girls are so graceful.
12:02Now it's time for the judges to make their final decision for the queen of Carnival.
12:11Reina del Carnival de la ciudad de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, la señorita Silvia González Rodríguez.
12:23It was the most incredible event I've ever been to in my life.
12:27It was totally way beyond what I thought it was going to be. It was great, fantastic. Not how pretty they were.
12:34It was movement, flexibility, colors, originality. It wasn't a beauty contest.
12:40Wow, those costumes were amazing. Stick around, Carnival, to see what else they have to offer you.
12:46Whoo! We're gonna have lots of fun.
12:53Destroy him!
12:57Now let's see how Canary Islanders have fun aside from Carnival.
13:07While wrestling in American culture has evolved into a high-flying, full-flair sport,
13:14across the pond, they've held tight to their wrestling traditions.
13:18So how long has this wrestling been around?
13:21This was starting at 1400s around. The wrestling consists of actually trying to throw the opponent down on the floor.
13:30Okay, I can learn it. I can learn this. This is easy. I can do this. You guys take it easy on me, right?
13:38So I think I'm gonna change into my shorts, because I need shorts for this, and we'll be back to do some wrestling. Canary style.
13:46Canary style.
13:49Okay, this is Pedro, one of the Canary wrestlers. I'm gonna take him down.
13:54Ready?
13:55Do you want to play?
13:56Do you want to play here?
13:57No!
14:03That was fun!
14:05I won! I won! I won! I won!
14:12One more time?
14:15Yeah! No!
14:17Dad, no!
14:19No!
14:21I don't think so!
14:23No!
14:33Woo!
14:35Victory's mine!
14:39After the break, we're getting lost in Moroccan culture.
14:43Opal and I hit it off.
14:47I think I can marry you.
14:49Really? I mean...
14:51Then, Jessica gets prepped for carnival.
14:53Whips and chains?
14:55Yeah, yeah, yeah! Are you into that?
14:57Don't go away.
14:59Morocco is home to some of the oldest markets in the world, and they sell everything here from jewelry to handmade crafts.
15:17But the real art is the art of haggling.
15:19Now, Opal and I are going to try our hand at a little broken Arabic bargaining.
15:23Yeah, we don't have that much money, so we're going to see what we can find.
15:29This is Larrabee, our tour guide. How are you?
15:43Nice to meet you.
15:44Good to see you.
15:45Good to see you too.
15:46We might need a little bit of help. I've got a cheat sheet here.
15:48Yeah?
15:49I have a feeling that it might not be too authentic.
15:53But we want to learn some words to haggle.
15:55Oh!
15:56Words that we can use, so...
15:57Yeah, you say...
15:58Can you tell us what to say?
15:59Yeah, you say...
16:00When you ask for the pass, you say ghali, that means...
16:04Ghali.
16:05Ghali.
16:06What happens if you want to say how much?
16:07Is that hal?
16:08Shhal.
16:09Shhal.
16:10If you don't mind, you follow me...
16:11Should we take a little tour first before we start buying?
16:13Before negotiations can begin, custom comes first.
16:16They invite you to have milk tea.
16:18Oh, thank you.
16:19That's the tradition in Morocco and hot.
16:22We say in the hot country, we drink hot.
16:25Makes you hot plus hot equal cold.
16:31It's not the temperature that warms a Moroccan man's blood.
16:34The almonds.
16:35The Arabic man eats lots of almonds.
16:37They have to, to satisfy all their wives.
16:39We have to haggle.
16:41Shhal.
16:42Shhal.
16:43Which means how much?
16:44100 durham.
16:45100 durham.
16:46Chheili bazaes.
16:47Which means too much.
16:4955.
16:50No, no, no, that's cheaper quality.
16:52Roasted.
16:53Roasted.
16:54No, no, no, roasted.
16:55100 durham.
16:56Nah.
16:5790 durham.
16:5890 durham.
16:59Nah.
17:00Chheila.
17:01Okay.
17:02That was the worst haggling of everything.
17:04I can't believe you gave up so fast.
17:06Can I wear it?
17:07The first woman of the United States.
17:11How much?
17:12The price?
17:13100.
17:14100 durham.
17:15Kiss him.
17:16Kiss him.
17:17You can make a kiss.
17:18Maybe.
17:19Oh, I already gave him a kiss.
17:20He wants another kiss for a better price.
17:21Wow.
17:22How much is this?
17:23It's 3,000.
17:24Is there any haggling on a 19th century piece by any chance?
17:25No.
17:26Hard to haggle with a guy with a calculator.
17:27Now what else do we need?
17:28This is aphrodisiac.
17:29Aphrodisiac.
17:30Aphrodisiac.
17:31Aphrodisiac.
17:32Aphrodisiac.
17:33Aphrodisiac.
17:34What is it?
17:35This is Berber Viagra.
17:36Berber Viagra.
17:37We need a rapid Viagra.
17:38What do we do with it?
17:39This is only for tea.
17:40Only one piece for one night.
17:41And what do we do with it?
17:42With water.
17:43Boil it?
17:44Boil it.
17:45Okay.
17:4615 minutes.
17:47After 5 minutes, we drink it.
17:50Rambazamba.
17:51What does Rambazamba mean?
17:52Rambazamba.
17:53What does Ramazamba mean?
17:54Rambazamba.
17:55Rambazamba.
17:56Yeah.
17:57Yeah.
17:58Bum-bum.
17:59Yeah.
18:00Okay.
18:01Bum-bum.
18:02Yeah.
18:03Bum-bum.
18:04What is it?
18:05Bum-bum.
18:06Bum-bum.
18:07What's that?
18:08Bum-bum.
18:09Bum-bum.
18:10Bum-bum.
18:11Bum-bum.
18:12Yeah.
18:13Boom, boom, boom.
18:14Boom, boom.
18:15I'm going to put the jar.
18:17I think we've got everything we need.
18:18Some clothes, perfume.
18:21Aphrodisiac.
18:22Let's see if we can make our way out of this maze.
18:24Go, come on.
18:25Let's drop in on Jessica, who's about to experience the madness of Carnival firsthand.
18:30Hi, I'm back in Santa Cruz where Carnival is just getting started.
18:34They're kicking off with a huge parade.
18:36Let's go see what it's all about.
18:43Beautiful costumes and everybody is so happy and dancing and singing and the atmosphere is really great here.
18:57My friend Louis told me that if I don't dress up for tonight for Carnival that I'm just not going to fit in.
19:02So I'm here at the costume store and we're going to find some cool things to wear for tonight.
19:08And I think I'm going to find my crew some hats.
19:10What do you guys think?
19:11No, maybe, oh, baby's bottle.
19:15I don't know, I'm not seeing much here.
19:17I think it's a little picked over.
19:18Look, these are cool.
19:20I think you can get some color into your wardrobes here.
19:22We're at Carnival, come on.
19:24Okay, I have to find a hat or something.
19:26Ooh, ooh, ooh.
19:27Maybe I can pretend that I'm the queen of Carnival.
19:31Wave in the parade.
19:33These won't work.
19:34These are all for little kids.
19:36I found it.
19:37What do you think?
19:38Perfect.
19:38I think we're set.
19:39We're ready for Carnival.
19:40We're ready.
19:41Yay!
19:42I think...
19:43Oh, yeah.
19:45What is this?
19:46What is this?
19:47It's good.
19:49Hey, I got my costume on here.
19:51I'm with my friend Luis and his friends.
19:53And we're going to go hit the streets of Carnival for the big party.
19:57Are you guys ready to go?
19:57Sure.
19:58Yeah.
19:58Yeah.
19:59Yeah.
19:59Okay, let's go, come on.
20:08We are going to the main square of the city, you know, Plaza de España.
20:12We are like water going down from the street to the main square where the party is.
20:17Really?
20:17Where the people is dancing, where the people is enjoying a lot.
20:21We lost one of your friends, didn't we?
20:23Yes.
20:23Yes.
20:24We will see maybe later.
20:25In case I get lost and I need to speak Spanish to somebody, how do I order a beer?
20:35Por favor, una cerveza.
20:36Por favor, una cerveza.
20:37Por favor, una cerveza.
20:39You'll do a shot with me?
20:41Okay.
20:42Tres tequilas, por favor.
20:44That's a lot.
20:46Okay, this is one Spanish word I know.
20:48Tequila.
20:49Tequila.
20:54It's crazy here.
20:55Crazy Carnival, you know.
20:56Loco, right?
20:57Okay, we're going in.
21:00This is the biggest dance floor I've ever seen.
21:03People just dancing all around everywhere.
21:14Everybody's happy.
21:15Everybody's moving around and having a good time.
21:18Thank you guys so much for taking me out tonight.
21:21I had so much fun.
21:22I'm getting tired and I know there's so much more partying to do so I'm going to go home.
21:26But I want to say thank you and have a great time.
21:29Adios!
21:30Up next, Opal and I are working it to make a Moroccan buck.
21:35Mom, Dad, you'd be so proud.
21:37Then, more rockin' Arabian Nights.
21:40Stay tuned.
21:41Now, Marrakesh is the center of entertainment in Morocco and there's a little bit of everything in this one place, Shay Ali.
21:57It's kind of like the Arabic Disneyland.
21:59Let's go have some fun.
22:00Oh, we definitely dressed for the occasion.
22:02Yes, we did.
22:03Yes, we did.
22:04Yes, we did.
22:05Mayhem, music, and mystery are the running themes at this park where Moroccans serve up a range of entertainment and authenticity.
22:21It's colorful, it's exotic, it's different, just different from everything in the other side of the world.
22:38Can you belly dance?
22:48I can do it, I can do it.
22:49You can do it?
22:50I'm impressed.
22:51I'm very impressed.
22:55The dancing is so beautiful.
22:56Can you see Chocis?
22:57Can you show us some of the laps?
23:19I'm so glad you can't see what's going on underneath my dress.
23:34Mom, Dad, you'll be so proud! I'm making money!
23:54Hey there, it's Apal again and I made my way down to Agadir. This place is known for its nightlife.
23:59This is one of the hottest spots, Papagayo. Let's go rock the Casbah.
24:03What's the wildest thing you've seen in there?
24:13Too wild to be told here.
24:18Well, off the record, we're going to go check out the wildlife.
24:28Man, this place is going off!
24:30I love it here! It's the best place here in Agadir.
24:36Monaco!
24:46Can I see some bad words?
24:48I'm just having fun looking for some sweet pun...
24:52but I didn't look, I didn't find nothing.
25:03Despite all the madness and the language barrier, I made a friend!
25:07We're going to go to Maghrib with Papagayo.
25:17Thank you!
25:20Thank you, thank you!
25:22Coming up on Wild on Casablanca.
25:24A lot of very sexy girls. It's fantastic.
25:28The Canary Islands' hottest hotties are showing their stuff. Don't miss it.
25:33Oh, I thank you!
25:34Oh, yeah!
25:43Cowboy!
25:45Now, apart from the movie Casablanca, Morocco has other ties to celebrities as well.
25:49They come here for vacation, they come here to shop, and some come to just get away.
25:53get away.
25:54I know that Jimi Hendrix hung out here for a while in Esauera.
25:57Also I sing a song about the castle, Castle on the Sun.
26:00It's the name of the song.
26:03He came here to escape from another life,
26:05to live a simple life, a natural life.
26:08Long after Jimi Hendrix's death, the castle stands,
26:11and Esauera's artistic vibe still thrives.
26:16This place looks pretty cool.
26:18Let's go see what he's making.
26:19Can you ask him how long it takes him
26:21to make something like this?
26:23To make sure he looks like he's making something like this.
26:28Two days.
26:28While we were growing up watching TV,
26:30they were learning how to be artists.
26:32Great biggest fear, Dad.
26:34Is it possible to learn how to make something?
26:36Or we could just buy this, take it home, and say that.
26:38And say we did it.
26:40Look at me.
26:43Is that how these carvings are made here?
26:45Oh, nice.
26:46You put different colored wood in here.
26:49I'm just going to watch and learn.
26:52Oh, good.
26:52He's going to draw you something.
26:54No faith in the American artist.
26:55Good reason.
26:57Is it OK?
26:58Ladies and gentlemen, not just another pretty face.
27:01It took me about two weeks compared to his two days.
27:05That's why he wants to keep you here.
27:08I don't think that's the only reason.
27:11He's like, get in there.
27:13Oh, my, that's the wrong hole.
27:16I hate that when that happens.
27:17Oops.
27:18She's beating the hell out of it.
27:20Slowly, slowly.
27:21I think it needs to be deeper.
27:23How's that?
27:23I don't have to put the glue in there.
27:25A little glue.
27:25Put the glue in there.
27:27Sawdust.
27:28No.
27:28Oh, it fills in.
27:29Oh, for the mistakes.
27:31Very cool.
27:31Yeah, more, please.
27:32Oh, looks nice.
27:34You've done a good job.
27:36Congratulations.
27:37That's my B. That's going to be humiliating.
27:41OK, I'm sucking in this.
27:43What do you do?
27:44Well, how'd you do this?
27:46You're right.
27:47He's not going to keep you.
27:49Oh.
27:50No.
27:52I quit.
27:54I just quit.
27:56We've got B, a mistake, and another B.
27:59Ba' moukara.
28:01Should've run.
28:02We've got our Moroccan goods.
28:04You guys head over to the Canary Islands
28:05and see what Jessica's up to.
28:07Let's go.
28:08Hi, I'm back in Santa Cruz for Carnival,
28:10where tonight is the big Rhythm and Dance competition.
28:13I'm going to be on the lookout for my favorite
28:15Carnival costume.
28:16Maybe I can talk one of the girls into letting me try one on.
28:25So what do you think of the competition tonight?
28:28A lot of nice, very sexy girls, and it's fantastic.
28:33Those costumes were amazing, so intricate, so unique.
28:39But for me, as a Playboy Bunny, I think I need to show a little bit more skin.
28:42So I'm still looking.
28:46Have you seen any costumes you think tonight that would look good on me?
28:49I think every costume will be nice if you wear it.
28:52Oh, thank you.
28:53Oh, thank you.
28:54Okay.
28:57That yellow one was cool.
28:59Very cool.
28:59But I think the hat was just a little too big for me.
29:01I don't know if I would be able to keep my balance.
29:03I love the red, I love the silver.
29:07Beautiful.
29:12The dance moves with these groups are amazing.
29:14I'm loving this.
29:15It's a great dance competition.
29:17Gorsha was in it.
29:20I finally found my costume.
29:22It's very sexy, very fun, very bright, colorful, very Carmen Miranda.
29:26It's what Carnival is all about.
29:28So stick around and watch me try it on.
29:30Don't go away, because coming up next,
29:33Playmate Jessica Lee is stripping down and dressing up for Carnival.
29:38Don't go away.
29:51Tenerife has a lot of beautiful scenery.
29:53You can hop in a car and take a look at the island,
29:55or you can do it like they did in the old days,
29:57on the back of one of these camels.
30:00Oh, I think I see a baby camel.
30:02Oh, it is a baby.
30:04You think it's going to spit at me one time?
30:07It's just going to...
30:09Hola.
30:10Buenos dias.
30:11Buenos dias.
30:12Okay, looks like I have to get dressed up for this, huh?
30:15All right, you know what?
30:17If I have to wear this, then the rest of the crew has to wear this.
30:20All right, guys, your turn.
30:24Oh, yes.
30:26That's tough.
30:27Very sick baby.
30:29Let's try it.
30:34Que guapos.
30:35Que guapos.
30:36Okay, here we go.
30:39Oh, friendly little camel.
30:41Arriba.
30:42Arriba.
30:43Woo!
30:44Ah!
30:45Whoa!
30:46Nice camel.
30:47This is so much fun.
30:49It's so beautiful up here.
30:50You like it?
30:51I think he's trying to give me a kiss.
30:52You like it?
30:53You like it?
30:54You like it?
30:55You like it?
30:56I think he's trying to give me a kiss.
30:58You like it?
30:59You like it?
31:00You like it?
31:01I think he's trying to give me a kiss.
31:03You like it?
31:04Un beso?
31:05Un beso?
31:06Un beso?
31:07My new beso?
31:08All right, all.
31:09Little camel.
31:11Right over.
31:12Everybody's laughing at us.
31:15Oh, just wait until she gets on this thing.
31:18Then we'll see what's fun.
31:20We'll see what's fun.
31:22Then we'll see what's funny.
31:24We'll see what's fun, yeah.
31:27Woo!
31:29Whoa!
31:30Whoa!
31:34OK, finally.
31:36On the ground.
31:38That was fun.
31:39Getting off this thing is a little difficult.
31:42Yeah.
31:43Yeah.
31:45Yeah.
31:46Very graceful.
31:47That wasn't it, huh?
31:48Well, this was a blast, but I think I'm going to stick with the modern way
31:52of transportation to get around the island.
32:06Hey, guys.
32:07We're still here in Esauira, which is known as the windy city in Africa.
32:10In fact, the wind is so wicked here that they've given it its own name.
32:13They call it a la Z. And we were going to go windsurfing today, but...
32:18I think we'll skip it under these conditions.
32:21I agree.
32:22We might get blown out to that castle out there.
32:24But check these guys out.
32:25How's the windsurfing here?
32:26It's great, but there's a lot of wind.
32:29But for me, there's too lot of wind.
32:31Too much wind.
32:32Yeah.
32:33How is it for you?
32:34Too much wind.
32:35Too much wind.
32:41Too much wind this day.
32:45This wind is amazing.
32:47How did you end up in Morocco?
32:49there is too lot of wind. Too much wind. How is it for you? Too much wind this day.
32:56This wind is amazing. How did you end up in Morocco? We're here on vacation. My boyfriend
33:07is a surfer, so I went here with him to teach how to play the board. To learn. Well, this
33:12is a really hard condition to learn in, isn't it? Yes, it is, but I guess you get a better
33:17surfer out of this weather and this wind, yeah. So what happens if the wind just takes
33:26you out to sea, then what do you get in here? Well, it's actually a security boat out, so
33:30if you get too far, the security boat will pick you up and get you into the beach again.
33:40Now, the wind is so strong here that they have given it its own name. The wind is called
33:44Al-Azi? Yes, his name is Shaggy. Oh, wrong name. His name is Shaggy. Shaggy.
33:53So we stand corrected. Scratch the Al-Azi. The wind's name is Shaggy? Shaggy.
33:59Who said this was the windiest city in the world? Not me!
34:08So we aren't ready to risk a dip into the Moroccan waters yet, but Jessica is having no problem
34:26diving into the Canary Island scene. It's been a blast here at Carnival, but like all good things,
34:31it must come to an end. Today is Martes de Carnival, which is the same as Fat Tuesday at Mardi Gras.
34:37And yep, you guessed it, they kick it off with, yet again, another parade. Let's check it out.
34:41I saw these costumes the other night in the rhythm and dance competition and I absolutely fell in love with them.
34:57So I caught up with some of the girls and they are going to let me try it on.
35:01So how exactly do you, how exactly does this go?
35:14No. No? Down the floor? Yeah. Okay.
35:24A lot of work goes into this, like a lot of work.
35:28It's going to take you half an hour to get this outfit on.
35:32Finally, the hat. The grand finale. The most difficult.
35:37Non-ligue. Non-ligue.
35:41Hot. Five. Hot.
35:44Five hat. It equals five hat?
35:49The hat is taking pictures of me.
35:52Oh, I feel for you guys. This isn't easy.
36:03Oh, I don't know about that.
36:06Woo! That was beautiful.
36:11Woo! Yeah!
36:12Thank you guys so much. I had so much fun. Good luck in the parade.
36:19And I have to get out of this thing. It's a little too much for me.
36:22Okay. I'm getting dizzy. It's too heavy.
36:25Thank you so much. Have fun. Good luck.
36:27Okay. Bye-bye.
36:29Jessica found out those Canary Islanders really work hard for a party.
36:34And they always save the best for last.
36:38Usually fireworks meet since the end of a party, but trust me, this one's just beginning.
36:56It's the last night of Carnival. I don't want to miss another minute of it.
36:59So I'll see you guys later. Adios!
37:00After the break, what's got Opal so worked up? Find out next.
37:21Film Casablanca brought Morocco fame in the 20th century, but Marrakesh earned itself a worldwide reputation all on its own.
37:27And Opal is about to find out why.
37:39All right. So I made it here to the Jemaah El Sna, which for the past thousand years has been the beating heart of Marrakesh.
37:45Heard a lot of wild things about this plaza. Let's go see what we can find.
37:48It's an assault on all five sentences at once.
37:58Square. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I just thought about three young kids staring at your pocket. That should not be good.
38:08Hands in pocket in Morocco market.
38:20Why do I always end up with things like that in my hand?
38:24Look out! This viper almost sunk his teeth into our producer Chad. Good thing there was a trusty tambourine nearby.
38:36My near death experience with snakes. That was actually scary. We had one trying to attack the producer and the cobra wouldn't let me leave. It was blocking the way and they were just feisty. They were not friendly at all. I need a break.
38:54If charging cobras aren't your thing. Check out these charging stallions at Marrakesh's annual Fantasia competition.
39:13This is called Fantasia. It's a traditional horse race in which men are riding horses in a row and in the end of the race they shoot together.
39:33It represents war when the tribes were at war against each other and this has stayed in the traditions of Morocco and it's very remarkable show.
39:51We are proud of our culture and our traditions.
39:55You must come to Morocco to see this because it's beautiful.
40:06These Arabian Knights of Valor soon gave way to Moroccan Knights of Mystery.
40:11So I have no idea what this is. I have no idea what it's called but and it looks pretty much impossible. I'm going to give it a shot. Don't laugh at me.
40:32Don't laugh at me.
40:40This sucks. It's very frustrating. It's not going in. Mayday. Mayday.
40:52See, I'm telling you, I'm a natural. It's unbelievable. I paid somebody to do that.
40:57I'm going to have my fortune read now. From this very scary-looking woman.
41:07Okay, so I'm going to marry a good guy and if you're watching the good guy, she said I'm going to be rich.
41:24And then I'm going to be rich.
41:34It looks like street boxing, Moroccan style. Look at that. Oh my god, there we go.
41:42These kids are dumb.
41:45See that uppercut?
41:46These kids are so good!
41:47Oh my god!
41:48Oh my god!
41:49This is so good!
41:50Oh my god!
41:52Thank you!
41:55Oh my god!
41:56This is how it works!
41:58And the music is so good!
41:59Oh my god!
42:03Woo!
42:07Well, I have no idea who won.
42:09I don't know who lost.
42:10It was violent as hell, but it was really cool to watch.
42:13Time to throw in the towel.
42:15See ya.
42:17Well, that's gonna do it for this show.
42:19So from Casablanca, Masa Lama.
42:21I'll see you soon.
42:40I'll see you soon.
42:41I'll see you soon.
42:42I'll see you soon.
