00:05Have you watched the show before, and what was it like joining the cast?
00:08Yeah, so I feel like people don't believe me whenever I say this,
00:12but I really did not watch the show at all.
00:14People say I need to go back and watch the beginning seasons
00:17because apparently it's really entertaining.
00:20I did watch a little bit of last season before coming into this group
00:25just to kind of get familiarized with what I was getting myself into.
00:30But I feel like I knew or had heard of everyone just from being in Charleston.
00:36It is a small town, and everyone really does know everyone.
00:40I've been in Charleston for almost six years now,
00:43so I would see Craig, Austin, Shep out and about places.
00:49But yeah, this was my first time really hanging out with everybody.
00:54Well, I want to get into everything going on so far this season
00:56because first of all, when you joined the show,
00:58Shep was sliding into your DMs.

01:13and did you ever think that you would end up in a love triangle with Craig instead?
01:19No, I never thought that I'd be in a love triangle.
01:23As for Shep, it's hard because, like, I really do love him.
01:28Like, he is one of my favorite people.
01:29I find him, like, so, like, this is, like, unintentionally funny.
01:34But I just, when you know, you know.
01:38Like, I just wasn't seeing, it was more friendship vibes for sure.
01:42And then with Craig, like, no, I didn't foresee a love triangle,
01:48but in the beginning, me, him, and Sally were all hanging out,
01:51the three of us, like, as friends.
01:54Also with Craig's friend, Corey, like, whenever he was in town, too.
01:59So, yeah, I didn't see it.
02:02I didn't see it going south because it was so fun in the beginning.
02:04Well, you were there, like you said, for, you know,
02:06a lot of those late night hot tub hangouts at Craig's.
02:10Did you feel like Craig was ever flirting with Sally during those?
02:14Nothing too obvious because I didn't feel like he was flirting with me either, you know.
02:20Like, we were just really just hanging out, like, after, like, a night of drinking or, like, yeah.
02:27I don't know.
02:28It didn't feel like it was, like, these, like, romantic hot tub nights.
02:32Like, we really were just hanging out.
02:34At what point did you realize that he was actually into you?
02:37I think, hmm.
02:41I think that, like, I could tell that we gravitated towards each other
02:45whenever we were in these bigger groups,
02:47just because we do have a lot in common.
02:51So, maybe I was, like, starting to get the hint,
02:55like, after maybe, like, a month of knowing him.
03:00I think you were definitely put in kind of an awkward position
03:03at that slumber party when the boys kind of outed
03:05that you were planning to go on a date with Craig
03:07before you had a chance to tell Sally.
03:09Stop it.
03:10Like, Charlie's about to go on a date with him.
03:13So, don't scare her.

03:24So, I actually, like, Sally and I really are so close.
03:28So, we, I mean, we, like, are constantly, like,
03:31texting, talking on the phone.
03:32Um, I called her right after he asked me on the date, actually.
03:36So, I did.
03:37Like, it wasn't on camera,
03:38but as soon as he, like, left my gallery,
03:40I immediately called her and told her that he asked me on a date
03:43and that I was going.
03:45Um, yeah, I wasn't, like, planning on, you know,
03:50having, like, a whole discussion about it at the slumber party,
03:52but I knew that that would happen
03:54because it always happens in this group.
03:55Um, yeah, nothing is, nothing is private, so.
03:59Did you feel like you had to downplay your feelings for Craig for Sally?
04:03No, I honestly felt like I was very much, like, pressured to be, like,
04:11yes, I like him, no, I don't like him
04:13whenever I was really living in the gray
04:16and wanting to find out on my own.
04:18Like, that's why I wanted to go on this date.
04:20Like, I wanted to spend time with him one-on-one away from the group.
04:24Um, yeah, so it wasn't like I was downplaying it.
04:27I just, I honestly felt like it had to be a yes or a no,
04:30and if it had to be a yes or a no, it was going to be a no
04:32until it, until I changed my mind and it's a yes, you know?
04:35Well, in this week's episode, we saw you get emotional over the date
04:38because you felt bad, but Molly basically tells you,
04:41you know, it's hypocritical of Sally to be upset with you
04:43because she was kind of doing the same thing with Vanita.
04:46The thought of even going on this date
04:48just brings me so much anxiety.
04:50Sally was definitely hurt by Craig and I feel bad about it.
04:53Same place that Sally and Vanita were in.
04:57Yeah.
04:57You know?
04:58Would you, did you agree with that?
04:59No, no, because Vanita never had a crush on Craig.
05:05You know, I think that Sally did have a crush on Craig.
05:10Um, I will say, like, she also had a crush on Austin.
05:14She also had a crush on, like, a couple other people at the time, too.
05:17But I don't think, I don't think it's the same situation.
05:19I really don't.
05:20I mean, it, it looks very similar.
05:23Like, I'm kind of feeling like I'm going to hurt Sally's feelings
05:27by hanging out with Craig and then Sally feels like she's going to hurt Vanita's feelings
05:31for hanging out with Craig.
05:32But I do think it's different.
05:34You know, Austin and Craig, they've been going through quite a bit this season as usual.
05:37Um, was there any part of you that was ever turned off by a romance with Craig after seeing
05:43some of these incidents?
05:44Yeah.
05:44I mean, and I, I think that I voiced that, too.
05:47After, for instance, Witt's birthday party, whenever Craig kind of blew up at Austin.
05:53He's always been doing his shots the past three years.
05:56Sally's never happy with her shots.
05:58Cause it's always in your hot tub, Craig.
06:01I went to Craig's house to show him some art and I, we sat down and, you know, I was like,
06:06this is not a good look, man.
06:07You know, like, so it's not, it's not like it just like turns me off and I'm like going
06:13to shut it down completely.
06:14But it is one of those things where, I mean, one, like that shouldn't happen all the time.
06:20And two, like you got to take accountability.
06:22So, and I feel like he did after, after Witt's party.
06:25Next week, we're going to see you actually go on this date to the oyster farm.
06:29Based on the preview, it looks like it goes well.
06:32Can you give any update on where you and Craig stand today?
06:35Um, Craig and I are, we're in a good place.
06:37Yeah, we're in a good place.
06:38You'll see.
06:39I mean, like at the end of the day, like we really were friends before we went on,
06:45you know, a date or two.
06:47But yeah, I think like, I think we're in a good place.
06:49I love that you have shared your love of art.
06:52What's it like to share that part of your life with the world?
06:54And what kind of response have you gotten from them?
06:56Yeah, I mean, it's so exciting.
06:58I, I really, I mean, this is like what I've been doing in Charleston for the last like three,
07:04three and a half years.
07:06Um, yeah, it's great.
07:07And like my gallery that I work at, like the people that I work with are like some of like
07:12the best people I've ever met in my life.
07:13And they've been so supportive throughout all of this.
07:16And, you know, knowing that it is such a big part of my life and a part of my story,
07:21they immediately jumped behind the idea of me filming in the gallery because they're like,
07:26yeah, like we want you to be able to show like what you doing, what you love.
07:31Um, it's been great though.

07:34Has anybody like slid into your DMs, like looking for art pieces or anything?
07:38No, I haven't really looked, but, um, I'm kind of like, I'll let that happen through
07:45like email correspondence.
07:46I'm going to keep that professional, you know, I'm not going to be selling art through
07:49the DMs.
07:50Was this experience of filming Southern Charm what you thought it would be?
07:54What, were there any misconceptions you had ahead of time before going into it and actually
07:59doing it for yourself?
08:00No, I mean, I think that I feel like I went into it really with not low expectations, but
08:08like no expectations just because like, I didn't want to, like, I just went into it
08:14knowing that like, I was going to be true to myself.
08:16I was gonna, you know, like try to, I'm not like speak negatively.
08:24I just feel like I'm not like a negative person.
08:26And even whenever there is drama, I do feel like I try to be like a mediator or like a,
08:34you know, someone that wants to like reconcile pretty quickly.
08:37Looking back, I do wish that I was a little bit more outspoken at times.
08:45I do think that I, I definitely, I don't know, looked a little like meek, I'd say, but
08:52yeah, next season.
08:53I think it's a good thing.
08:56I don't know.
08:57I think, I really, I just, I really want to take advantage of that.
