I can’t think of a more perfect cure for my winter blues. In this video, we lounged in luxury at the Four Seasons Tamarindo, a luxurious resort located in the Costalegre region of Mexico. This resort features fine dining, infinity pools, and an amazing view of the beaches and forest. Another bonus is the on-site farm, Rancho Lola, where they source all of their produce and meat, plus you get to hang out with pretty cool animals.

00:00Is it really so wrong to travel somewhere and never leave the hotel?
00:03Located in Mexico's Costa Alegre region, Four Seasons Tamarindo is an easy three-hour flight from LA
00:08and truly blurs the line between a resort and its natural surroundings with untouched beaches and miles of lush forest.
00:13When I first arrived to the outdoor lobby, I was struck by the design.
00:16And then I was escorted to my home for three nights, a villa which featured a sunken tub, an outdoor shower, and a show-stopping plunge pool.
00:23I watched the sunset each night from here and admired how the hotel just naturally felt embedded into the cliffside.
00:28Tamarindo also has three-tiered infinity pools and some of the best corn tortillas and tacos that I've ever had.
00:34But the hidden gem was actually deep in the 3,000-acre reserve.
00:38Rancho Lola is the on-property farm which supplies the resort's produce, meat, and eggs, and I adore playing with the Great Pyrenees ranch dogs.
00:46To cap it all off, there's an incredible spa with treatments rooted in local traditions and a seemingly endless array of outdoor activities.
00:52At Tamarindo, there really is no guilt for not leaving the hotel.
