Cat attempts to hunt birds on TV screen and faces the frustration of an impossible catch

This video shows an adorable cat discovering what "you can look, but you can't touch" really means.

"My cat, Svante, tries to catch the birds on the TV," the filmer, Sandra, told WooGlobe.

The feline does everything right, from sneaking up on the birds to deciding which one to catch (and possibly eat for dinner).

However, the persistent TV screen refuses to cooperate.

It seems there is no such thing as an easy catch in the life of a pet cat.
