17 Taiwanese citizens who were arrested in the Philippines for allegedly running a scam ring have been sent back to Taiwan to face trial. Officials say the accused were working out of a luxury villa in Cebu where they defrauded other Taiwanese citizens in scams involving investments, dating and fake charities.
