00:00Every time I pass by a movie set in New York, I get a feeling of both, I'd say, warmth mixed with panic, mixed with pity.
00:11This episode of THR News is brought to you by Season 2 of Hulu's Only Murders in the Building.
00:16Now for your awards consideration.
00:19Scarlett Johansson is opening up about working with Woody Allen and her next career goals.
00:23During a rare podcast appearance on Bruce Bozzi's new iHeart series Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi,
00:30the actress discussed filming with the once prolific, now disgraced filmmaker, pushing back against the bombshell label and her career goals.
00:38While discussing her rise through the Hollywood ranks, Johansson recalled working for Allen on Vicky Cristina Barcelona,
00:44a film that was shot in Barcelona where she says the filmmaker has reached God-level status.
00:49We would have probably, I'm kidding you not, I think probably 600 plus spectators, 600 people.
00:56The actress shared another story where Allen couldn't make it through one of his lines on his 2006 murder mystery scoop and had to stop the workday,
01:05adding that it's things like that that can be disrespectful to the crew.
01:08This is just their workday and they have their family and they got up at 6 in the morning and they need to get home because their kids have homework and whatever other thing.
01:18Elsewhere, the actress opened up about having a bombshell label earlier in her career.
01:22I was kind of being groomed in a way to be this, what you call a bombshell type of actor.
01:29I was playing the other woman and the object of desire and, you know, I suddenly found myself cornered in this place, like I couldn't get out of it.
01:38She credited Bozzi's husband and her now-agent Brian Lord for breaking her out of that typecast and eventually landing her Marvel Studios' Black Widow role.
01:47As for her future career goals, Johansson told Bozzi that she would like to direct but loves producing.
01:52My ideal job is like a corner office on the Disney lot.
01:58Yes, like a little bungalow.
02:00That's what I want.
