U.S. President Donald Trump has renewed his demand for control of Greenland, insisting only the United States can secure the territory, while accusing Denmark of ingratitude for refusing to give it up.

00:05And of course, one of the main things that everyone is looking at is, of course, Greenland,
00:10where U.S. President Donald Trump repeated his demand for control of the territory,
00:15claiming only the United States can secure it.
00:17However, he reassures that he would not use force to claim it.
00:22He also criticizes Denmark, calling it ungrateful for refusing to give up Greenland.
00:27After the war, we gave Greenland back to Denmark.
00:33How stupid were we to do that?
00:36But we did it.
00:38But we gave it back.
00:40But how ungrateful are they now?
00:43But every NATO ally has an obligation to be able to defend their own territory.
00:48And the fact is, no nation or group of nations is in any position to be able to secure Greenland
00:55other than the United States.
00:57We're a great power, much greater than people even understand.
