00:00The USA is the economic engine on the planet and when America booms the entire world booms it's been the history when it goes bad it goes bad the whole we all you all follow us down and you follow us up and we're at a point that we've never I don't believe we've ever been I never thought we could do it this quickly this afternoon I want to discuss how we have achieved this economic miracle how we intend to raise living standards for our citizens to levels never seen before
00:30and perhaps how you too and the places where you come from can do much better by following what we're doing because certain places in Europe are not even recognizable frankly anymore they're not recognizable and we can argue about it but there's no argument friends come back from different places I don't want to insult anybody and say I don't recognize it and that's not in a positive way that's in a very negative way and I love Europe
00:59and I want to see Europe go good but it's not heading in the right direction we need it for strategic national security and international security this enormous unsecured island is actually part of North America on the northern frontier of the western hemisphere that's our territory
01:20it is therefore a core national security interest of the United States of America and in fact it's been our policy for hundreds of years to prevent outside threats from entering our hemisphere and we've done it very successfully we've never been stronger than we are now
01:38it's the United States alone that can protect this giant massive land this giant piece of ice develop it and improve it and make it so that it's good for Europe and safe for Europe and good for us
01:52and that's the reason I'm seeking immediate negotiations to once again discuss the acquisition of Greenland by the United States just as we have acquired many other territories throughout our history as many of the European nations have
02:06they've acquired there's nothing wrong with it we probably won't get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force
02:13where we would be frankly unstoppable but I won't do that
02:20okay now everyone's saying oh good
02:23that's probably the biggest statement I made because people thought I would use force
02:29I don't have to use force I don't want to use force I won't use force
02:32all the United States is asking for is a place called Greenland
02:37where we already had it as a trustee but respectfully returned it back to Denmark not long ago after we defeated
02:46the Germans the Japanese the Italians and others in World War II we gave it back to them
02:52but now what I'm asking for is a piece of ice cold and poorly located that can play a vital role in world peace and world protection
03:05it's a very small ask compared to what we have given them for many many decades
03:13but the problem with NATO is that we'll be there for them a hundred percent
03:20but I'm not sure that they'd be there for us if we gave them the call
03:27gentlemen we are being attacked we're under attack by such and such a nation
03:33I know them all very well I'm not sure that they'd be there
03:37Canada gets a lot of freebies from us by the way they should be grateful also but they're not
03:42I watch your prime minister yesterday he wasn't so grateful
03:46they should be grateful to us Canada Canada lives because of the United States remember that
03:53mark the next time you make your statements
03:55so we want a piece of ice for world protection
03:59and they won't give it we've never asked for anything else and we could have kept
04:06that piece of land and we didn't so they have a choice you can say yes and we will be very appreciative
04:16or you can say no and we will remember
04:20a strong and secure America means a strong NATO
04:27and that's one reason why I'm working every day to ensure our military is very powerful
04:33our borders are very strong and all we're asking for is to get
04:38Greenland including right title and ownership because you need the ownership to defend it
04:44you can't defend it on a lease
04:46number one legally it's not defensible that way totally
04:52and number two psychologically who the hell wants to defend
04:57and a license agreement or a lease
05:00which is a large piece of ice in the middle of the ocean where
05:05if there is a war much of the action will take place on that piece of ice think of it
05:10those missiles would be flying right over the center of that piece of ice
05:14so when I called up
05:16Emmanuel Macron I watched him yesterday with those beautiful sunglasses
05:21what the hell happened
05:25but I watched him sort of
05:31be tough
05:33Ukraine and Russia lost just
05:37tremendous amounts
05:38and I'm dealing with President Putin
05:42and he wants to make a deal
