00:00In the first moments, the question echoes like an unsettling whisper piercing the silence.
00:05Why do so many women spend their lives waiting for a rescue that never comes?
00:11It's not a simple or comfortable question.
00:13It carries an urgency, a sense of mystery, and a restlessness that doesn't allow the listener to look away.
00:20Because, ultimately, it's not just about relationships, romantic choices, or frustrated expectations.
00:27It is a deep, silent, and powerful psychic structure that shapes entire destinies without ever revealing itself by name.
00:37A force that seems delicate, yet imprisons; that disguises itself as sweetness, but exacts a high price.
00:43And when it is finally recognized, it has already left deep scars.
00:47We live in a paradoxical time, in which women are expected to be everything at once.
00:53Strong, sensitive, independent, beautiful, available, successful, but rarely allowed to be whole.
01:03From a very young age, many learn that to exist is to please others.
01:07Love is won with lightness.
01:09That anger must be swallowed.
01:11Sadness needs to be disguised with an acceptable smile.
01:15One learns that causing trouble is dangerous.
01:18Saying no can cost you affection.
01:21Growing too big can push away the ones you love.
01:24Thus, little by little, an identity is built that works for the world, but does not sustain the soul.
01:32It is in this context that one of the most intriguing figures in analytical psychology emerges.
01:37The poet, the eternal one.
01:40The girl, eternal.
01:42Not as a moral label.
01:44Not as a character flaw.
01:46But as a living archetype.
01:48Pulsating.
01:49That which spans generations.
01:51The woman who ages on the calendar, but remains internally suspended in a state of waiting.
01:57Idealization.
01:58A silent escape from adult life.
02:00She is not weak.
02:02She is interrupted.
02:03Interrupted in its natural process of emotional maturation.
02:08Interrupted in the right to feel fully.
02:12Interrupted in the process of building her own identity.
02:16Eternal poinsettia can be enchanting.
02:18She usually is.
02:20His presence is light.
02:21Her voice is sweet.
02:22Her gaze holds a gleam that seems to promise intense stories and profound feelings.
02:29To outsiders, she appears free, spontaneous, even admirable.
02:35But when the day ends and the noise of the world falls silent, something remains incomplete.
02:41There is a diffuse void.
02:43A feeling of suspension.
02:45As if life were always about to begin.
02:48But it never really started.
02:50It's like a carefully preserved doll.
02:54Untouched by time.
02:55But also deprived of its own movement.
02:57Carl Jung described this pattern as a deep resistance to adult reality.
03:04Not because women aren't capable of facing it.
03:07But because at some point in history, reality became too threatening.
03:13Thus, fantasy began to function as a refuge.
03:16Idealization became a refuge.
03:18Waiting for the other.
03:19An unconscious way of avoiding the responsibility of existing independently.
03:25Poela doesn't just expect one partner.
03:27She longs for meaning, direction, validation, a sense of belonging.
03:32She hopes that someone will see her completely, without her needing to reveal herself.
03:37She hopes to be chosen without having to choose.
03:40She hopes to be loved without needing to support herself.
03:43This wait, however, is endless.
03:45Because no one can offer what hasn't yet been built internally.
03:50No relationship can fill the void left by an undeveloped identity.
03:56No external love can replace the internal task of becoming whole.
04:00And that's why so many stories repeat themselves.
04:04Promising relationships that fade away, projects that never materialize, dreams postponed indefinitely.
04:13Always waiting for the right moment, the right person, the ideal conditions.
04:17The origin of this pattern is rarely accidental.
04:21It takes root early, often in childhood.
04:24It can stem from overprotection, when the girl is shielded from frustrations, prevented from making mistakes,
04:31deprived of the experience of falling and getting back up.
04:34In this scenario, the adult world becomes frightening because it has never been experienced.
04:39Autonomy seems dangerous, responsibility sounds like a threat.
04:43The implicit message is clear: you can't handle this alone.
04:47Thus, growing up becomes associated with loss, fear, and abandonment.
04:53In other cases, the root is the opposite.
04:55Neglect, rejection, emotional abandonment, unstable or traumatic environments.
05:02Girls who had to mature too early, who learned to swallow their tears,
05:08Taking care of everyone around them, surviving in silence.
05:11They grow functional, strong on the outside, but frozen on the inside.
05:17They learn not to need, not to ask, not to feel.
05:22And, paradoxically, they carry a secret hope that one day someone will perceive the pain that could never be expressed.
05:30May some connection finally make up for what was missing.
05:34Some love will be enough.
05:36In both cases, the result is similar.
05:38A woman who lives more in her imagination than in reality.
05:43Jung claimed that the unconscious creates images, and these images govern destiny.
05:50The eternal poet lives trapped in images of redeeming love, eternal youth, and happiness without conflict.
05:59She clings to lightness because the weight of life seems unbearable.
06:02But lightness, when used as an escape, becomes a prison.
06:07What seemed like freedom becomes stagnation.
06:11This emotional immaturity isn't only manifested in major choices.
06:16It appears in everyday details.
06:19The difficulty of saying no.
06:21Out of the paralyzing fear of making a decision.
06:23The most painful aspect is that, most of the time, this woman realizes that something is wrong.
06:52She feels the emptiness.
06:55It recognizes the repetition of patterns.
06:58She compares herself to other women who seem to move forward, build, and establish themselves.
07:05Meanwhile, she feels out of place.
07:08Like a teenager lost in an adult's body.
07:11This pain is silent because it is rarely acknowledged.
07:15The world only sees the surface.
07:18Apparent independence, competence, charm.
07:21Few realize the frightened child that still lives there.
07:26The archetype of the eternal poet is not an accusation.
07:30It's a warning.
07:31He points to a wounded psyche, shaped by external expectations.
07:36deprived of space to develop fully.
07:39This woman did not choose not to grow up.
07:42She learned that growing up was dangerous.
07:44Culture reinforces this message by exalting youth as the supreme value.
07:50By romanticizing the eternally girlish woman, always lighthearted, always available, always agreeable.
07:57But this image comes at a high price.
08:00The loss of depth, of autonomy, of inner truth.
08:05Jung described the individuation process as the path to self-realization.
08:09And this path requires confronting the shadow.
08:13There is no maturity without frustration.
08:15There is no wholeness without pain.
08:17There is no freedom without responsibility.
08:20The eternal poem must, symbolically, die so that woman can be born.
08:26And this death is not literal, but psychological.
08:29It is mourning for the fantasy of rescue.
08:32It's the farewell to the fairy tale that promised effortless salvation.
08:37It's the acceptance that no one will come.
08:40This is one of the most difficult moments of this journey.
08:43Because abandoning hope of being saved means taking charge of one's own life.
08:49It means acknowledging that, despite all the mistakes of the past,
08:54Now, responsibility for one's own existence is personal and non-transferable.
09:00This is frightening, but it also liberates.
09:02A woman who chooses to mature doesn't become harsh or cynical.
09:07It becomes real.
09:09Awakening doesn't happen abruptly.
09:11It begins as a persistent discomfort.
09:15A feeling that something no longer fits.
09:18Fantasy ceases to comfort and begins to disturb.
09:22What once seemed like a dream is beginning to sound like empty repetition.
09:26At this point, two choices present themselves.
09:28Continue sleeping or begin to wake up.
09:31And waking up requires courage, because it means looking at what has been avoided for years.
09:37The shadow of an immature woman often contains exactly what she needs most.
09:43Repressed anger that holds its own.
09:46A stifled ambition that reveals its creative potential.
09:50The denied solitude that points towards freedom.
09:54Integrating that shadow doesn't mean becoming a different person.
09:58but to recover essential parts of herself.
10:01Jung reminded us that what we deny in ourselves does not disappear.
10:05It simply begins to govern us unconsciously.
10:09A fundamental part of this process is the integration of spirits,
10:13The energy for action, decision-making, and confrontation present in the female unconscious.
10:19Many women reject this strength for fear of losing their gentleness or being rejected.
10:26But integrating emotions doesn't mean abandoning sensitivity.
10:30It means uniting intuition and firmness, care and limits, empathy and truth.
10:36It's when a woman discovers that she can be sweet without being submissive.
10:40Strong without being rigid, vulnerable without being dependent.
10:44A woman who matures learns to endure her own solitude.
10:49not as punishment, but as a space for self-discovery.
10:53She stops begging for love and starts choosing relationships.
10:57She makes mistakes, feels fear, feels insecure, but she no longer lives her life based on that.
11:03She builds a life that makes sense to her, not just to the eyes of others.
11:09The need to maintain a perfect image dissolves.
11:13Eternal youth loses its value in the face of authenticity.
11:18Superficial charm gives way to a rooted presence.
11:22This process is not always understood by those around us.
11:25Some relationships break down, some people drift apart.
11:29A woman waking up might seem strange.
11:32because it ceases to fulfill its expected role.
11:35But internally, something is being reorganized.
11:37There is a feeling of return, of alignment,
11:40as if finally inhabiting its own body and its own history.
11:46It is not the absence of pain, but the presence of meaning.
11:50As Jung wrote,
11:51He who looks outside dreams,
11:54But he who looks within awakens.
11:58The archetype of the eternal poem is not a sentence.
12:02It's a possibility for transformation.
12:04Immaturity is not a mistake, it's a stage.
12:07The problem begins when this stage is confused with the destination.
12:13Growing emotionally is a difficult choice.
12:16but profoundly liberating.
12:18This reflection is an invitation to awareness.
12:21A call to women who feel trapped in repetitive cycles.
12:26who suspect a dormant force within themselves,
12:30But they still don't know how to access it.
12:32It is a call to traverse the dark night of the feminine soul.
12:37without romanticizing, without ready-made formulas,
12:41only with clarity, honesty, and courage.
12:44Because the truth, however harsh it may be,
12:47It always liberates more than illusion.
12:50Having reached this point, it's important to acknowledge the courage it took to stay.
12:54Narratives like this are uncomfortable, but they are necessary.
