00:00But it's not just in Tamil Nadu. Today, day one of the assembly session in Kerala,
00:04again, similar face-off, government versus governor, which is what I was referring to,
00:08that in opposition rule states, there seems to be the constant narrative.
00:13Chief Minister Pinerai Vijayan took on the Kerala governor. There was no walkout there,
00:17but the governor, Rajendra Arlikar, did in fact make his address, tweaked what was given by the
00:23government. So therefore, the Kerala chief minister accused the governor of unilaterally
00:27adding and deleting portions of the cabinet-approved policy address, alleging key
00:32references critical of the centre were deliberately skipped. This led to a big showdown. You in fact
00:38had the speaker in the Kerala assembly also backing the chief minister, saying any changes to the
00:44policy address without cabinet approval is unacceptable. So similar government versus
00:49governor showdown playing out in Kerala. To no walkout, the governor did go ahead with the state
00:54address, but tweaked parts of it. And that's what led to a showdown.
