00:00First Filipino Olympic gold medalist Haideline Diaz-Naranjo is set to join the University of the Philippines Diliman as a member of the faculty at the College of Human Kinetics.
00:10Diaz-Naranjo aims to expand the knowledge of students and the general public about weightlifting, especially as the sport has become a regular event in the Palarong Pambansa.
00:20She also seeks to integrate weightlifting into the broader sports education landscape in the country. Starting in the second semester of academic year 2025-2026, Diaz-Naranjo will handle two sections of PE2 weightlifting classes at UP Diliman.
